Roof Rack Spacers to Allow Vent to Open on Original Escapod TOPO With iKamper

Question:
I’m mounting a rooftop tent on top of our Original Escapod Topo tear trailer and need the crossbars to be a little higher so the roof vent can open on the trailer. Is this the tallest spacer available to raise the crossbars? Ideally, I was looking to raise it 2”. I have the rhino rack quick mount legs and Thule crossbars currently.

Hi John; the # RRQMHD30 are the tallest spacers available. It looks like this would still allow you to open the vent a small amount for airflow. It wouldn't be as great in terms of height as those boards you have now but I really don't recommend keeping the boards up there like that. If this is going to be your permanent setup I would consider adding an additional small vent like # MA00-03810B or # MA00-03810W in front of or behind the tent to help with circulation.

Thanks for the quick reply! To be clear, the boards are only there to see how much height I need to open the roof vent. I'm ordering the spacers and as soon as I get them installed I'll mount the tent properly. Thanks again!
