Features to know about

Keeps Your Trailer Level: 3-1/8" Rise for Balanced Towing

A level trailer tows smoother and tracks straighter. This Curt Class II drawbar gives you a 3-1/8" rise from the top of the inside of the hitch opening, helping line up your trailer coupler for an even ride. If you need a bit more lift—around 3-7/8"—this mount has been measured by multiple folks to hit that range too, giving you the height you need for balanced towing every time.

Built Strong for Everyday Loads: 3,500 lbs GTW Capacity

This fixed steel ball mount handles up to 3,500 lbs gross towing weight and 350 lbs tongue weight, plenty for most small trailers or light equipment hauls. At 11-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, it gives you solid leverage and clearance behind your vehicle for stable towing.

Stays Clean and Solid: Steel Shank with Gloss Black Powder Coat

Road grime and weather can take their toll on towing gear, but this mount’s sturdy steel construction and corrosion-resistant gloss black powder coat finish stand up well over time. The 7-stage washing method and CNC-machined cuts deliver a smooth surface and tight welds that keep things looking good and performing steady.

Simple and Reliable Setup: Fixed Ball Mount Design

No moving parts here—just a dependable fixed ball mount that fits 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" trailer hitch receivers. The 3/4" ball hole works with common hitch balls like Curt part?#19258 or?#19256 so you can match your trailer coupler size easily. It’s a clean, straightforward setup that connects quick and tows steady trip after trip.

I am very pleased to this point. Receive the package promptly which is a big deal to me! This rating is for the shipping experience from order placement to receipt. A total of four days. I will review again once I complete the install..

by:

Great Quality and Price - directions and online video was perfect and easy to follow for installation.

by:

Ease of install--Great. Worse part exhaust lowering. Other than that product is great. Wire harness install- a five year old could do it. very satisfied will always come to you, have now got my business.

by:

Fast shipping, everything I ordered arrived in perfect shape. I would definitely recommend etrailer.com to my friends and family.

by:

Received the hitch components promptly and in excellent condition. Followed the video instructions and had a successful installation without a "hitch". The sales tech was very helpful.

by:

Great price..quick shipping...easy install..and great customer support...

by:

I just got my order,Katherina could not have been better, ever thing was just like it
should be,When I call to ask about the hitch I was not going to order that day but
she was so helpful that I ordered then,it took three days to get here,I'm putting
it on a 2007 Chev. Impala,I don't have a camera to take any pictures but I know it
will fit fine.I will be telling all my friends about you. Thank you Katherina

by:

This drawbar is exactly what I needed. It attaches to the hitch with no noticeable issue, and clears the rear bumper. Excellent!

by:

Drawbar came as described and fit the 1.25" receiver without problem. Purchase was on the doorstep earlier than delivery time estimate when ordered. This was my second purchase with absolutely no issues. A great place to do business.

by:

Products exactly as ordered. Very fast shipping. After I ordered, I realized there was another item I wanted. I called the 800 number and Steffen was a great help, cancelled the current order, placed everything in a new order and added the new item I wanted. Allowed me to get the savings due to order value.
Great service.

by:

Good product, sturdy and made out of solid steel. Before ordering I suggest measuring the distance from the hitch pin hole to the back of the bumper. The first ball mount I received was unfortunately not long enough

by:

I received this receiver about 5:00 PM only three days after ordering it. I called the customer and he delivered his car at 7:00 PM. I installed the the receiver, the taillight converter and wiring, called the customer back and He picked it up ready to tow his trailer by 8:15 PM. That is amazing. Flawless fit and function. That is how to satisfy a customer.

by:

got it in yesterday, very very fast shipping and delivery.
I am well pleased with the product, cannot complain about it craftsmanship at all, very well built.

I added a rattle reducer along with this, I do recommend anyone putting a rattle/noise reducer on along with not only this but with any hitch insert.

plain and simple they all will rattle and make noise..

but overall I recommend this to anyone... you will not be disappointed.

Mine is on my 2016 KIA Soul, 2.0 L
I have one of the Scoota Trailers designed to haul my mobility scooter...

by:

Great!!! etrailer has great selection, prices and quality. I always buy from them! I bought Chevy Malibu class one hitch to pull our jet ski, no issues, still have it installed!

by:

This item is what I was looking for. I needed a longer ball mount and this fits the bill. It is well made and it fits good, it's not sloppy in the receiver like some other brand names. Shipping was fast.

by:

Installed the drawbar...fits easily into the receiver and looks to be a good height when combined with the C12252 Curt trailer hitch receiver on the 2012 Impala. Didn't rate excellent because I haven't used it to tow yet.

by:

Fits well but did not have the pin for the receiver extension. I purchased both extension and hitch from this site and would have figured it would be complete.

Ordered all three items on 3/16/15 and it was delivered 4 days later (3/20/15) as promised. Can't say enough about what excellent customer service this order system was and very simple to use. The promised date of delivery was right on the money.
I've already installed the hitch and wire assembly and the instructions were very easy to follow.
Thank you

by:

Not much to say! really ! I had ordered another hitch for a certain height so I could have clearance of the hitch from the rear door of my Toyota Rav4, the size was perfect, the Mini-Camper-Utility trailer sits 1 inch off level tilting forward , when loaded it sits perfectly level, I can open the rear door 3/4's its full swing, It came in the post wonderfully wrapped, came on time, I have made purchases from etrailer in the past with spectacular service, a follow up e mail that, should I have any problems it would be taken care of. I highly recommend etrailer to all, and a big thank you to Ms. Ashley E. for a spectacular service. Jim Raymond Massachusetts

by:

Very good ball mount. I have it on a 2012 Toyota Corolla S with 16" wheels. If I had to do it over again, I'd get a lower rise since the 3-1/8" rise on this model seems a little high for my car, but no big deal. I might also get a little shorter one since this mount is 11-1/4" long, but again no big deal. I'm keeping ball mount, it's also good protection if I ever get rear-ended in my small car (it's happened before and my truck sustained no damage whatsoever thanks to ball mount--unlike the car that rear-ended my truck).

by:

My hitch receiver is low to the ground on a Honda Civic. This raised my hitch ball about 4" so my kayak trailer tows level, and is now less likely to bottom out on a driveway.

by:

It was the perfect size for my 2018 Chevy Cruze, coming up around the rear bumper with plenty of room yet could tow over 2,000 lbs. Trailer height to trailer hitch height was perfect.

by:

Awesome drawbar! The order process was smooth and flawless from beginning to end. Shipment was fast and accurate. I would highly recommend etrailer for all of your trailering needs!

I’ve used this product several times over the past year and it continuously works flawlessly!

by:

Every part excellent quality. Perfect fit, all parts were exact for my vehicle. Watched the video on youtube for wiring and being a mechanic for over 50 years was able to connect signal lights all from driver side of harness. Instead of leaving plug inside trunk I wired through the rubber outlet to the back of the hitch ready for use. Very happy highly recommend etrailer.

Used on my 1999 Dodge Intrepid's CURT 12006 Class II 1.25 in. Receiver Hitch: 350lbsTW/3500 lbs GTW. I use this Curt Class II Drawbar - 3-7/8" Rise - 11-1/4" Long - 3,500 lbs to tow a 3,500+ GTW dual axle trailer. I have used it with the trailer FULLY loaded and it performs EXCELLENT. You have to make sure the trailer is loaded correctly so as not to put too much down force on the tongue/drawbar. I was skeptical that the SOLID 1.25" bar would not take the load, but it is super strong. I chuck it in the trunk when not in use to protect passerby's shins, but it sticks out far enough clear the Intrepid's bumper, and is solid with a 2" ball (required a bushing). etrailer got it out fast at a good price! I would totally purchase this again from them.

I stand by my review completely. Super rigid drawbar and powder coating has held up well. Not much to go wrong with it and I am still amazed at its strength.
