The Curt trailer hitch # C11282 is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight. Your 2016 Chevy Cruze is rated for a maximum of 1,000 pounds according to the owner's manual. this will limit the hitch to 1,000 pounds. The hitch does fit the 2016 Cruze.
The correct ball mount for this hitch and vehicle is # C45522. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. And for trailer wiring use # 118508 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.
