The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11282 is confirmed to fit your 2014 Chevrolet Cruze as long as you don't have a diesel engine. If yours is a diesel you'll need # C11371 instead. I checked an online copy of your owner's manual and your Cruze is able to tow a trailer that is 1,000 pounds or less. You should verify with your printed copy to be sure.
To tow a trailer you'll also need a ball mount, hitch ball, pin and clip, and trailer wiring.
To power the trailer's lights use the wiring harness # 118508. This will provide a 4-way trailer connector on your Cruze. It installs by plugging into a connector that is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both sides. Once that's connected you'll need to run the hot lead up to the battery and insert the provided fuse.
You'll also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I've attached link of our selection of ball mounts for a 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver as well as an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop you may need. The recommended ball mount is # C45522 with 1-7/8 # C40001 or 2 inch # C40018 hitch balls. Then pin and clip # F-4. Once you choose a ball mount you can then choose a hitch ball and pin and clip to fit it.
I've also included links to some articles on towing that you might find helpful.
