I have a 2005 Cadillac sts awd. What is the max weight I can tow?

The final authority will be the owner's manual of your 2005 Cadillac STS, but from the research I did it looks like the max towing weight for your vehicle would be 1,000 lbs. The Curt hitch part # C11307 has a 2,000 lb capacity, but a towing setup is only as strong as the weakest component so you would be limited to 1,000 lbs regardless of what hitch you use.

For trailer wiring you would want the part # C59496, ball mount part # C45522, pin and clip part # F-4, 1-7/8 ball part # C40001, 2 inch ball part # C40018.
