Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario.

2014 nissan rogue...hidden hitch came sooner than expected qnd could not have been easier to install

by:

hidden hitch is always top of the line......no dissapointments here. wireing went easy insall was a snap on hitch and wires...highly recommend for heavy duty products...thanks.

by:

The Hidden Hitch Receiver model HH87663 fit my 2015 Nissan Rogue SL 2WD perfectly. It shipped quickly and it was packaged well. All the bolts, washers and instructions were present, but I found the instructional video on etrailer a much better tool to use to get a visual understanding of how to install. I would buy again from etrailer, they had the best price, easy online purchase and great product.

by:

Great experience with etrailer...their on line videos showing how to install the trailer hitch on my car was right on. I went with the Hidden Hitch HH87663 on my 2016 Nissan Rogue...after watching the installation video I was able to do the install by my self in an hour...would have been fast had I had a helper

by:

Received the Hidden Hitch for a 2014 Rogue within the time they quoted. Installed myself using a floor jack to hoist the hitch into place while I bolted it on (I did not have to jack up the car, there was enough clearance to work). This was the first hitch I installed. Very easy, and bolts lined up perfectly. The hitch is very sturdy and weighs about 38 pounds. Just what I needed for my cargo carrier!

by:

I was looking at having a hitch installed on my 2011 Nissan Rogue and considered a company that welded hitches to the frame. I had a bolt on hitch that I had previously installed on our Ford Explorer and found etrailer.com and ordered the Hidden Hitch from them. I only intend to use the hitch for my bicycle rack. The instructions were clear and concise and I installed the hitch in approximately 30 minutes without having to raise the vehicle. I would recommend etrailer.com to others looking for this type of hitch.

Good looking hitch, very easy to install. The only thing I do with cars is change tires, and this is all the skill I needed. The video was very helpful. I ordered on a Monday morning and had it Tuesday afternoon. Installed it same day in 30 minutes.

  • Weight Capacity and Bike Rack Options For 2018 Nissan Rogue
In that question, the customer may have been referring to the towing capacity of their vehicle being a maximum tongue weight of 110lbs. That information can be found in your owners manual. So even if Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75902 has a 3,500 pound towing capacity and 350 pound tongue weight capacity, the towing capacity of the vehicle takes precedent. So the lowest of the two numbers is what you go with in regards to towing capacity. So please check the towing capacity...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2017 Nissan Rogue
For your 2017 Nissan Rogue, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75902. This is a Class III trailer hitch that has a 3,500 pound towing capacity and 350 pound tongue weight capacity, although I also recommend checking your vehicle's capacity as listed in the owner's manual. This is a custom-fit hitch for your vehicle, which means no drilling will be required during installation. I have attached an installation video on your Nissan Rogue for you to check out. Since...

  • 2018 Nissan Rogue Trailer Hitch Recommendation for Carrying Bike Rack
The Draw Tite hitch part # 75902 that you referenced would be the best option for your 2018 Nissan Rogue for carrying a bike rack. This is a 2 inch hitch that has a concealed crosstube which means you'll have a hitch with plenty of capacity that will be out of plain sight for the most part. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.

  • Recommended Bike Rack and Hitch for 2017 Nissan Rogue
For your 2017 Nissan Rogue, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13204 does require some trimming of an underbody trim panel, so whether you are comfortable doing that trimming or not would be the only issue with doing it yourself. If you are comfortable with the trimming as shown in the video you can absolutely do it yourself. If you are not, any mechanic you trust can install it. You may want to consider the Draw-Tite # 75902 simply because the installation will be the same, but Draw-Tite...

I felt that the best way to show you is with a picture that I have included of the etrailer hitch installed on the Nissan Rogue. • Troubleshooting Bolts Not Fitting When Installing Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch on a 2008 Nissan Rogue
If you are having trouble getting the hardware to install for your Draw-Tite trailer hitch then what you need to do is soak the bolt holes with WD40, wait for a few minutes to let it set in, and then use a wire brush like part # 814113 to clean out any dirt or debris. This isn't very uncommon especially on vehicles that are a little older. Another thing to check is to make sure that you have the correct trailer hitch for your vehicle. If you are considering the Thule Helium Pro 3 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # TH9043PRO and the Thule Apex XT 4 # TH9025XT, there are some differences to consider. First off, since the Helium is made of durable aluminum, it has a lighter overall weight of only 20 pounds. To compare, the Apex is made of steel which increases the weight to 35 pounds. If you are looking for an easy-to-attach option that is less work when attaching and removing, the Helium is the better rack for that purpose....

The only difference between this and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13204 is that the Curt hitch has a glossy powered coated finish whereas the etrailer.com Hitch has more of a matte powered coated finish which we find does not draw as much attention to it. • Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2015 Nissan Rogue
I recommend the Draw-Tite Class III trailer hitch # 75902 for your 2015 Nissan Rogue. It's a bolt-on installation and no welding is required. Also, you won't need to cut or trim anything. You may need to remove the appearance panels for installation. If you are having the hitch installed by a local shop, ensure they give you the appearance panels to keep because you will need to re-attach once you turn in the vehicle when lease is complete. When a hitch like # 75902 is installed on a vehicle that has multiple rear bumper lift gate sensors usually it is only the center one that might be affected by the presence of the hitch tube. In practical terms all this means is that the liftgate function will need to be activated via one of the other sensors on the bumper. So instead of triggering the lift function by waving your foot near the center sensor as we'd all typically do, you'll simply do this near one of the others. I know...

If you do have the spoiler on your vehicle, Thule doesn't recommend using a trunk mounted bike rack as the upper straps would damage the spoiler.
