If your Nissan Rogue doesn't have the spoiler at the top of the hatch lid, the Thule Passage 2 bike model you referenced, part # TH910XT would work great. If you do have the spoiler on your vehicle, Thule doesn't recommend using a trunk mounted bike rack as the upper straps would damage the spoiler.
If your Rogue has the spoiler, then a hitch mounted bike rack would be your best bet. Beginning with the hitch, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75902. The crossbar of the hitch will be hidden behind the bumper fascia for a clean look. The only visible part would be the receiver opening. The hitch will provide an good attachment point for the bike rack or other hitch accessories like the etrailer brand # e98874 cargo carrier. I've linked you to an install video for the hitch.
For a hitch mounted bike rack, Swagman makes a reasonably priced option, the # S63360 Trailhead. The Trailhead provides crucial features like padded anti-sway cradles that securely hold the bikes from swaying back and forth during travel as well as an anti-wobble hitch bolt to hold the rack tightly in the receiver and prevent it from rattling around. A locking hitch bolt/cable lock is available as part # S64031.
If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance. I'll link you to a video showing how the adapter bar works.
