It was almost terrible, but ended up great. I Georgia company much more on how they conduct themselves when things don't quite go right rather than when they go perfectly. It's easy to look like a rockstar when everything is perfect, but it is much harder to be a quality company when things don't go your way. This time around I was accidentally shipped the wrong part for an upcoming trip in a couple of days, I was able to get a hold of my original sales representative Cassandra and she was able to identify and rectify the issue and time for a very important cross country trip. Her courtesy and professionalism throughout the entire experience was exemplary and has earned this company a loyal customer. I will certainly buy more equipment especially from Cassandra she did an excellent job.

The 5” offset ball did not fit my 2016 Ram 2500 so I had to send it back. I hope it will not be necessary when my gen-y hitch arrives.

Great product works very well and gets the job done thanks again.

by:

Just as pictured. It fits the Draw-Tite GN on my 2011 Silverado 2500 HD perfectly! It is a big heavy-duty item and must weigh about 10#. The weld around the ball is nicely done.

This is a great product and really helps in tight turns. It is very well made and all that needs to be done is keep the ball lubricated. We are pulling a 26 3-horse trailer. No evidence of any corrosion.

by:

I ordered this 5” offset extension yesterday. Got it in 24 hours at normal shopping time frame. It looks and worked great!

My offset ball still looks and works like new. I recommend this!

by:

The offset ball works great and gives me plenty of room to move my camper around. The shorter bed on the newer trucks don't give much room for turning, but with the offset ball I haven't had any issues yet

by:

Perfect offset.

by:

Great products, and the best customer service out there! Will always be my go-to for any towing and trailer needs!

by:

Good product. Would be nice if the hitch plate kit had the option to include this ball. b/c now I have the straight ball that I don't use that came with the system.

by:

It works great now my camper is not right at my back window. But I gave it 3 stars because I still have to remove my toolbox on my 2012 F150 Supercrew.

by:

i just want to say that the lady that answered my phone call was the most friendly and helpful person. The product that she helped me get i liked better than the one that i had originally ordered. The gooseneck hitch was easy to install and works great.

by:

Product is exactly what we needed. Service, as usual from etrailer, was prompt, professional and delivery was very fast.

Etrailer ALWAYS nails it!!!

by:

It solved the back window interference problem with towing my horse trailer on a truck with a 5.5ft bed.

by:

Perfect. Because I have a mega cab. This receiver works great. It gives me greater turning radius. Which helps in thick traffic.
Thanks for the help
George

  • Gooseneck Hitch, Wiring, Brake Controller and Spring Kit on 2014 Silverado 1500 with 5-1/2-Foot Bed
For your 5-1/2-foot bed 2014 Silverado 1500 I suggest the Draw-Tite Gooseneck hitch # 9465-54 along with the Offset Ball # 19308 and wiring harness # C56000. For a trailer brake controller I suggest the highly-reliable Prodigy P3 # 90195 along with the quick-connect install harness # 3016 which plugs in under the dash. The P3 offers easier installation and set-up than most other controllers and it has a legendary reputation for reliability. An install video for the P3 is included for...

  • Recommended Offset Ball for B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
I do have a solution for you, however the Draw-Tite 5" Offset Ball # 19308 mentioned in your question is not compatible with B&W gooseneck hitches. There a few compatible offset balls for your B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch, depending on the specific model that you have. To ensure you get the correct one, you just want to take a measurement from the locking pin hole to the bottom of the square base on your hitch ball. I have included an image that shows where you want to take this measurement....

  • Turning Clearance for Gooseneck Trailer
You can refer to the linked diagram for general guidelines about minimum clearances required when towing. If you have 8 or 9-inches of vertical clearance between the bed rails and the trailer you should be fine since 6-inches is considered adequate in most cases. As for clearance at the back of the cab, if your trailer has only the standard gooseneck tube structure in the front (and no enclosed trailer structure near it) cab-to-trailer turning clearance should not be an issue. If the trailer...

  • Best Way To Add Turning Clearance To a 2010 Ford F-150 5-1/2 Bed with Gooseneck Camper Trailer
The gooseneck trailer hitches available for your 2010 Ford F-150 are all going to place the hitch ball in about the same spot which is either directly on top of or just in front of the rear axle. Therefore, there is not really a gooseneck trailer hitch that will give you better turning clearance. However, if you use the the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9465-37 which is what I recommend then you can add the 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches...

We may have a solution that will work for you, but the 5" Offset Ball for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # 19308 does not fit the factory gooseneck on your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD. Instead, your best option is to use the B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler # BWTEXA4200; this coupler fits standard 4" diameter outer tubes, works with 2-5/16" gooseneck balls and will give you 10" of offset.

  • Will Replacing Trailer Pin Box To Goose Box Allow 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 Short Bed To Make Sharp Turns
You can replace the king pin on your fifth wheel trailer with a Goose Box. To find the right replacement you need to know what pin box is currently installed. For example, if you have a Lippert 1621 pin box you would replace it with part # RP85FR. However, using a offset gooseneck ball, if there is one available for your hitch, can typically extend the pivot point toward the rear of your truck.
