  • Trailer Wiring Diagram for 4-Way, 5-way, 6-Way and 7-Way Trialer Connectors
  • A link to the trailer wiring you are asking about is provided, just scroll down the page to select the connector you have on your vehicle and trailer. The wires on the 5 pole flat are as follows White/ground, Brown/taillights, Yellow/left turn and stop, Green/right turn and stop and Blue/reverse lockout. The brown will run to both sides of the trailer and the yellow and green will only go to the respective side they are needed on. The Blue wire goes to the electric lockout solenoid...

  • Changing the Bulb in the Wesbar Tail Light Capsule
  • The older generations of the Wesbar submersible low-profile lights came with sealed light bulb capsules that are not replaceable. If your capsule is sealed, then your best option is to replace the lights with new lights like part # 403026 and # 403076. The new lights come with capsules that allow you to replace the bulbs. The bulbs used in these lights are # A1157B and # 193.

  • What are the Functions of Trailer Light Green, Yellow, and Brown Wires
  • Normally, the green wire on the right side carries right turn signal and brake light functions and the brown wire carries running light functions. On the left side, the yellow wire carries left turn and brake lights and the brown wire again carries the running lights. With only 2 wires, these lights must ground through the mounting studs. Make sure to wire in the new lights by function to the existing trailer wiring and not by color.

  • Replacement LED Taillights for 2003 Ranger Trail Boat Trailer
  • No problem, we're here to help! My research confirms that the # 271595 and # 271594 are the correct replacement lamps for your trailer. Your existing lamps should measure 3-1/2 inches tall, 7-1/2 inches long (at the longest point) and 3-1/4 inches deep. I've linked to a product demonstration video.

  • Replacement Wesbar 102640 Trailer Light Assemblies
  • Your Wesbar 102640 trailer light features a sealed capsule so the bulb itself cannot actually be replaced. I recommend simply replacing the light assemblies with the Wesbar # 403026 and # 403076. These are the newer/current generation model lights to what you currently have. They measure 8 inches wide, 2-7/8 inches tall, and 2-9/16 inches deep. The mounting hardware is included and they do feature a sealed, waterproof construction. When needed, the bulbs on these assemblies can be easily...

  • Is 16 Gauge Wire Adequate for Trailer Wiring for Lighting
  • Most trailer wiring that runs to trailer lights is 16 gauge. I would rather people use 14 or 12 unless the lights are LED which draw considerably less. But for most people 16 gauge works just fine for basic trailer lighting. If you are planning on running several running lights or just more lights in general you would want thicker wire. I attached a help article on trailer wiring for you to check out as well.

  • LED Trailer Light Recommendation for 1999 Ranger Trail Trailer
  • Previous customers of ours that have had a Ranger Trail trailer like your 1999 model had Wesbar wraparound taillights on them. The LED version of this light would be the part # 271594 for the right hand side and part # 271595 for the left hand side. I wasn't able to find any decent pictures of the clearance lights on your trailer online, but I attached a link to a page that has all of the LED clearance lights we offer for you to check out.

  • Old Trailer Wiring 5-Way had 6 Wires But New 5-Way Has 5 Wires
  • The trailer connector that you had is what is called a wishbone harness. It has 2 running light wires so you do not have to run a jumper wire for running lights from one side of the trailer to the other. Wesbar harness # W002290 is an example of a wishbone 5-Way. All you have to do is connect the 2 running light wires from the trailer wiring together and then to the brown wire on the new harness. Or, if you are replacing all the wiring, you would run a jumper wire from one side of the...

  • How to Change Bulbs On Wesbar Submersible Tail Light # 403075
  • The panel on the bottom of the Wesbar Submersible Tail Light is removable to allow access to the bulbs. Simply place a screwdriver in between the tabs on either end of the panel and gently pry upward. The lamp is not sealed, but is considered submersible because it has drain holes that would allow the water to drain out. You would want to unplug your trailer wiring harness before submerging the lamp.

  • Troubleshooting Taillights with a 7-5-way Adapter on an Audi Q7
  • The issue you are having is not a 4-5 way adapter issue. If everything was working correctly using a 4-way on a 5-way connector would work just fine. I would first just try pulling the adapter out and re-installing it just to see if maybe something is making good contact. If that does not fix it you will need to use a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993 to test for voltage first at the back of the 7-way on your Audi Q7. If there is voltage going into the connector but not out of it...

  • Connecting Harley Davidson 5 wire Harness to a 4 Flat Connector on a Trailer
  • I would recommend you cut off the 5-way on your motorcycle. Wire in a tail light converter kit part # HM48895. This will convert your separate circuit tail light signal of your motorcycle to a combined circuit like what your trailer has. On Harleys the turn signal wire circuit is separate from the brake light circuit so a converter like the # HM48895 is needed to convert the signal into a combined circuit like what your trailer has. You will need a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993...

  • LED Replacement Lights for a Boat Trailer with Wesbar 105826 Tail Lights
  • For an LED replacement that is nearly identical to the Wesbar 105826 light you can use # STL36RB for the right side and # STL37RB for the left side. There are also versions that have a plug instead of just bare wires. For the right side use # STL36RPG and for the left use # STL37RPG. I have linked a couple of review videos for you as well.

  • Availability of Replacement Wesbar Trailer Light Capsule for a 1993 Four Winns Boat Trailer
  • The 102640 that you have referenced is for the older generation light like the Wesbar Submersible Low Profile Trailer Tail Light, # 403026, or # 403076. For your situation, the best option is to replace the tail lights with the newer models that I just listed. Unfortunately the capsules in the older units are sealed and the bulbs are not replaceable. Also, the replacement capsules are no longer available. The bulbs can be changed in the newer generation lights, # 403026 and # 403076,...

  • Replacement Lights for Boat Trailer

There is also a complete Trailer Light Kit for Trailers Over 80" Wide, # TLL16RK. • Replacement Tail Lights for a 2000 Jayco Kiwi Trailer
  • We do not have a replacement lens for the style of light that is on your Jayco trailer. I recommend replacing the lights with something more common such as # 271594 and # 271595 which are LED, wrap around style tail lights. Or for something more traditional in an incandescent light I recommend # 403026 and # 403076. I have linked some review videos for you.

  • Closest Replacement for the Wesbar 50010 Trailer Light Assembly
  • I was not able to find a replacement light assembly based on your provided number, 50010. A check with my contact at Wesbar reveals that they no longer have this light product; it was discontinued about 15 years ago. The light was a 4 x 4-inch unit according to my contact. The closest thing we have would be the part # 2823283 for the LH side and part # 2823284 for the RH side.

  • Towing Motorcycle Trailer with 5-Wire Lighting System with Vehicle with 5-Pole Connector
  • There are two good ways to accomplish this. You can convert the motorcycle trailer and the motorcycle to a combined system that uses the same light for the brake light and turn signals. The rear lamp assemblies would need to be replaced, and put a converter like part # 119178 on the motorcycle. This way, the trailer can easily be towed by the bike and the vehicle. The other method (which I would recommend) would involve constructing an adapter using the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light...

  • Installation and Troubleshooting Wesbar Replacement Lights and Right Turn Signal Not Functioning
  • The Wesbar # 403026 is considered the left hand side, the drivers side, or roadside. The Wesbar # 403076 is for the right hand side, passengers side or curb side. It should not matter which one is installed the wiring to the replacement trailer light is not side dependent. The only difference between the two is that the left hand side # 403026 has a clear section under the light that also functions as a license plate illuminator. If the turn signal on the right hand side is not functioning...

If this matches your lights then these are exactly what you need.

  • How to Determine Wiring Functions on Vehicle and Trailer
  • First, you would need to determine the function of each of the wires on the vehicle side of the connector by using a circuit tester like part # 40376. Typically, vehicle manufacturers use specific colored wires for certain functions, but you would have to test to make certain, as the color codes are not always reliable. You would then need to find out what function each of the wires on the trailer are. You could run a separate 12 volt battery to test the trailer lights. You would furnish...
