Dry-fit first and confirm corners sit flat. Trim any melted plastic around predrilled holes for a good seal. Reuse existing screws if they're in good shape, or add a few for a snug fit. On curved roofs, add padding and avoid overtightening. Heat can help remove old sealant cleanly.
