Yes, when installed correctly with the bottom fully supported by the subfloor and framing. Strength depends on the support under the tub more than the shell itself. Avoid stepping directly on the drain, which is a weaker spot. If you feel flex, add support before finalizing the install.
Measure the length and width and confirm the drain location (left, right, or center). If your new tub's drain differs from your current plumbing, plan to rework the drain connections. Tubs have a slight slope toward the drain. Check the bottom length of the tub; you may need to build a new support base if it's different. A quick dry fit helps prevent a didn't fit surprise.
Fully support the entire base so it isn't spanning or floating. Stabilize with canned spray foam and light framing where needed, and set the tub down flat and secure it. Avoid loading right on the drain area. If you find water on the bathroom floor, check for a seam crack instead of assuming it's the curtain. Rework the drain alignment if it doesn't match.
