This bathtub will replace your old, cracking tub so you can rinse off mud, sand, and sweat after a fun day of hiking and swimming. You can put a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, a razor, and other toiletries on the flat outer ledge and be able to grab them quickly while you're bathing. Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this specialty recreation white RV bathtub. Now this bathtub is going to replace or upgrade the tub in your RV or camper bathroom. This is going to fit your left-handed side drain hole setups. Let's take an overhead look.
I'm gonna line this up here in frame as best as I can, and I wanna give you some measurements here. So looking at the exterior length first, we're sitting right at 40 inches long, and then the exterior width, right at 24 inches wide. And then the depth is gonna be hard for me to show you, but just measuring here from the surface it's sitting on, all the way to the top ledge here. Looks like we're a little over 11 inches deep on the exterior. And then I went ahead and measured the inside dimensions before our time together.
So measuring the length first, inside to inside, we're pretty close to 38 1/2 inches long. And then the width again, inside to inside, about 24 inches, I'm sorry, 20 1/2 inches wide on that inside width. And then the depth from the bottom of the tub all the way to the top, about 10 1/2 inches deep. And I'm sure as you know, those measurements, at least the length and the width are going to get smaller the deeper you go in the tub. So that's measuring from the longest and the widest point.
The drain hole diameter is two inches, and the distance from the center of the drain to the closest edge is about seven inches. If you notice, we do have these flat corner ledges. They're gonna be great for helping you hold your soap, your shampoo, or other toiletries. so you can quickly grab them And it's probably gonna be kind of difficult for you to see. But the floor does have a textured anti-slip surface here, so that's going to help reduce the chance of you falling when getting in and out of the tub.
It's a pretty comfortable texture. It's not overly rough or sharp or anything like that. It's nice and subtle. I think it's gonna give you just enough confidence so you don't have to worry about slipping. And taking a look at a another angle here, I wanted to show you that we have a three-sided flange, and that's gonna help prevent water from splashing behind the tub and possibly damaging your wall. And then if you look at the bottom here, we do have a pre-installed foam base that's going to give you support to prevent this tub from cracking. But it also has the additional benefit of dampening the sound of if you potentially drop something in the tub. This is made here in the USA of a durable white ABS plastic, which is going to be scratch-resistant. It's also lighter and more environmentally-friendly than fiberglass. This is going to be a screw on insulation, but I do wanna point out that hardware is not included with this. So you would just have to pick that up locally that would best fit your particular application. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
