RV Sewer Hose Support for 9 Feet Runs
Built for short campsite runs, a 9 feet long RV sewer hose support reduces gaps and keeps things simple. It works well for typical hookups, and if you stretch it more than about 6', adding a brace at the camper end helps. Near a 10' span or when the hose is full of liquid, extra support can prevent rolling.
Over a 10' span, the material can be too light to hold a hose full of liquid, leading to rolling. Keep the run within a manageable length, and brace the support at the camper end. Add a mid-span support when the hose will be full to help prevent the hose from popping out.
Add support at the camper end. One effective setup is holding the camper end of the support under the hose so it can't tip. If the dump connection is about 3 inches above the ground and the span is long, add a brace to reduce rolling when the hose is full.
It can be, but check your actual span. Over a near 10' span, a support can roll and the hose can fall out when full of liquid. Measure outlet to dump and plan for a steady slope. If you're close to the max length, add a mid-span prop or shorten the run to reduce sag.
Plan extra bracing once you're past about 6'. Support the camper end under the hose to keep everything aligned. Add a prop or strap to reduce flex in the middle, especially if the hose will carry a full load.
