I am curious if this will come with the safety chains or be a add on like most of the other hitches?

It sure will Shawn. The B&W 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # BW73RV does indeed come with the required safety chains. This pin box is designed to replace a Lippert 1621, 1621HD, 0719, Fabex PB 600 Series pin box. There will be a shim kit that allows it to replace a Lippert 1716 pin box as well.

What model pin box does your 5th wheel trailer currently have?

Please note that if you don't know what bolt pattern your current pin box fits, I'll be happy to look it up for.

I'll just need the information on the sticker that's attached to your current pin box. The sticker should say date of manufacture, weight capacity, and have some form of RPO, LCI, or serial number on it. If you could email me a picture of it or carefully put all that information where it says Add Comment, I can find the right gooseneck pin box for you.
