Pack more and keep the cabin clear with a large capacity roof box. To dial in the fit, measure from the front mounting points to the windshield and confirm your crossbar spread so the box won't overhang the glass or block the rear hatch; also check antenna clearance. Set up correctly, these boxes can run quiet with little effect on mileage, but always watch your overall height in garages.

Measure from the center of your front mounting points or front crossbar to the start of the windshield, then check your crossbar spread. Large, wide boxes can contact the roof or antenna on some factory crossbars. Sliding the bars forward or using aftermarket crossbars can help.
