For your 2022 Mazda CX-5 I recommend the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box - 11 cu ft - Black AeroSkin item # TH6356B. The Thule Force Cargo Box will fit onto crossbars with a maximum width of 3-1/2 inches and height of 1-11/16 inches. The crossbar spread (measurement between the two crossbars) also needs to be between 23-5/8 inches and 35-3/8 inches. This box weighs 32 lbs and is 74-3/4 x 24-3/4 x 16-3/4.
Thule also offers a 16 cu ft item # TH6357B and a 18 cu ft item # TH6358B option that will fit your 2022 Mazda CX-5's roof rails.
