Add a solid grab point to your RV screen door and protect the mesh. Adjustable push bars cover spans like 21-1/2" to 28", with options reaching 32", so you can match your door width or even trim some styles shorter. Install by marking and drilling small holes, but check for tight spots such as fold-up steps or interior frames that overhang the screen door.
Measure the distance between the mounting points on your screen door frame and choose an adjustable bar that covers that span. Check the door tag for the door size since the frame will be narrower than the rough opening. If your interior door frame overhangs the screen door frame, verify the bar can mount and the door will still close. Some bars can be shortened by cutting the tube—confirm before modifying.
Installation is generally straightforward. Set the bar length first, then drill the four holes so the fit lines up. On a narrow frame edge, start holes with a punch so self-tapping screws don't walk. Mark and level the brackets before drilling, and use clear instructions or a video for reference if illustrations are hard to see.
