Good product and super service. One note. These have 1 1/4” holes and not 1”. I missed that when I ordered. So if you’re using hitch pins make note of that.

I use these on 7 trucks that tow trailers 32,000 + miles per year. If you want to feel safe with a ball carrier that will stand the test this is the way to go. I have been using these for several years with no issues and will continue to purchase them. They are heavy but they are durable.

Its stout and pulls my 7X16 foot enclosed trailer, fully loaded with 8,000 pounds, without any issue. I don't even know that its back there. I have a diesel Ram 2500 with an 8 inch lift and the hitch drops level with the trailer. 5 stars!!

This is really nice. Beveled edges so it slips into receiver hitch so sweet. Beautiful welds heavy weight mount for my weigh safe ball. I bought a 10,000 lbs hitch and I wanted a draw bar with the same type rating. Now the only thing limiting my trailer capacity is my truck's ability to tow, not the hitch, bar or ball.

I purchased a Ranch Hand rear bumper for my 2500HD but wanted to retain the use of a receiver hitch. The ball mount would need to extend 8" from the pin hole to even reach the edge of the bumper. This BM29 ball mount works out perfect. The welds look great and the finish is just fine. The only complaint I have is they gained a little length by moving the pin hole a little closer to the end shortening the insertion amount slightly. Not a big deal, it is just noticable next to the other mounts I have at the house.

Love being able to have access to both 2" & 2-5/16" balls without having to haul around 2 hitche's and then the height may not be right. When I'm not using I can leave it or stow it with very little effort.

Etrailer shipped out the bw hitch and the second one arrived on time. They worked to resolve the usps issue. The representatives were polite and helpful.

Have not put it on the truck yet but I can tell it is a quality sturdy product.

George, The product is great- well made and built to last. However, I was a little bummed that it took so long to get delivered. In reading the reviews of others on how fast the product was received I thought that it would be here in time for a recent trip I made (and was hoping to use it) to tow a trailer from California to Colorado and really put it to the test. It didn't make it in time, so I don't know how it would have done. In your brochure with the product you mention the use of locking pins but do not reference any part number or cost. This might be an item you recommend when customers place an order, as well as a mention in your video (which by the way is what put the "yes- I need that for all my towing needs!") . One of the coolest things is that I won't bust a shin or trip over the hitch late at night when walking around the the truck. After many years of purchasing single height towing hitches for each trailer and compromising correct towing weights, a little forward or rearward because height wasn't correct and the stressfull driving conditions it created, I finally decided to look into a genuine solution. I found the B&W Tow and Stow hitch, this is exactly what is needed for the multiple trailers in your life. This hitch is the master of controlling height and weight distribution, plus ball size changes and WOW...heavy duty, what a difference in towing control. I will never say the "C" word again...goodbye Curt.

I'll start off with the great customer service, called a rep for assistance and did a great job. He walked me through everything for about 5 minutes. Then I proceeded to order parts at a very reasonable price. Shipping was right on time and tracking was top notch. Now for the parts I received. Trailer hitch receiver was built like a tank, and very easy to install. I didn't even have to take off the whole bumper which I see on your website. There is only one problem with this hitch receiver. Zip ties to hold the facia bracket? It's like putting a $10 paint job on a Rolls Royce. I'm sure you have a good R&D department, but this is unacceptable. I could tell you how to make this better but I'm not part of your team. Could be solved by putting a ___ on the ______. R&D should be smart enough and paid well to figure this out. No offense but they can do better. ??ZIP TIES?? Also, it is pitched with a cap but did not receive that. I also purchased A brake controller P3 and a ball hitch. The ball hitch is pictured wrong on your website. It's pictured with an adjustable ball hitch. This is what really wanted but got something entirely different. If it works, I'll be fine with it. I should have caught that, but my eyes adjusted on the adjustable ball hitch. P3 brake controller was very easy to install, about 5 minutes. On a closing note, I will order from etrailer again. Thanks for your business. Just please listen to your customers and fix these problems. Everything and everybody are not perfect. Thanks again.

Works great used for 3 different trailer we have handy it's heavy well made.

Fits our VW Touareg perfectly and allows us to tow a variety of things now. As can be seen in the pictures the hitch has a +5-inch gap between the bumper and the vertical adjustment pillar and the trailer itself is out further so there's enough room to get to the rear hatch and maneuver the vehicle/trailer.

This ball mount gives me the adjustment I needed on my Dodge Grand Caravan when I rent different trailers. The part that goes into the hitch does have a little play but it is no worse than my current fixed height ball mount. The adjustable ball mount with the 2 pins also has about a 1/8" play so be ready for that if you buy this adjustable ball mount. That would be the only improvement I think they could make in the future is to have the pins a little larger and/or the holes a little smaller to reduce the play. However, this might just be the way these need to be designed at this price point based on the research I have done with other adjustable hitches.

Unit worked, but the fit between the 2.5" adapter and the hitch was loose. It caused the trailer to rock back and forth with every application of the brakes. Had to make shims to stop unit from clanking. Felt like if length of attaching piece was longer it would had helped. Attached picture to help illustrate.

Bought a new truck and never thought my ball mount off old truck would be an issue. Sure enough, let my tailgate down and it hit the top of my wind jack to my trailer. Went to u-haul,tractor supply and walmart. None had the solution to my problem. Started a Web search and came across etrailer. Found exactly what I needed and at a great price! Retail type stores only carry mainstream items so when I needed a special length ball mount for my 2011 Traverse I found the size and quality with Curt Products .

This hitch is extremely well made and makes it very easy to go from towing a lightweight storage trailer with my SUV and heavy towing with my 3/4 ton pickup. Switching ball sizes is a breeze. I highly recommend this hitch

Purchased this hitch as a companion for our Reese anti sway control. The small ball for the Reese sway control fits in the bracket and the 2” drop on the hitch is exactly what we needed to have our Jayco camper level when towing.

I cannot use this ball mount because the shaft is too short that goes into hitch receiver on my one ton Dodge truck. It does not allow enough room between truck back bumper and ball to allow any trailer tongue to be put on ball.

I have two of these. My first I bought two years ago. I very highly recommend this Curt Class III Ballmount 2" Drop because of its price, durability and quality. I towed various class 3 loads with ease and confidence with this ballmount. It slides into the hitch and does its job without fail. It looks excellent after towing a load. etrailer's price is about as good as it gets and delivery is very speedy.

This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.

I actually got my hitch the date they said it would be here to my surprise. When the box arrived it was pretty much beat up, not the hitch just the box. I wished there was instructions how to install it. Overall very satisfied and will buy from 5hem again
