Hey Jacques, thanks for reaching out!
The Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR will work just fine on your 2023 Ford Ranger, and it will install by splicing into a bundle of wires under your driver side dash. We have a video of this same process of the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a 2021 Ranger that I'm linking for you to reference, but we don't have anything of the Liberty on a Ranger at this point in time.
I'm not sure why we don't have this listed out to fit "with the tow package", but I'll send... view full answer...
Hey Fred, I checked with Blue Ox just now and our Blue Ox base plate kit part # BLU77ER is a confirmed fit for your 2025 Ford Ranger and would work great. Do you have a Blue Ox tow bar already? view full answer...
Hi Mike; we don't have a way to swap out the 2" ball on the Andersen Weight Distribution Hitch # AN88VR. We do have the 2-5/16" ball separately, # AN45VR, but we don't have it as a complete system. If you really want the Andersen, what I would do is reach out to them directly and see if they are able to sell it to you in that configuration.
If you want my opinion, I would not choose this weight distribution hitch for your new camper. I have an Andersen since it was free from the dealer... view full answer...
So you'd have to change out everything, including the brake mounting flange, as the 6-bolt is simply not used anymore. There isn't a direct replacement from Dexter, so you'd need a 5-bolt brake mounting flange welded on (assuming you have a 3" diameter axle, which you should though you'll want to verify), the brakes, and a new hub and drum. The flange and brakes are the following:
- Brake Mounting Flange for 3" Round Axle # 4-44-1
- Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12" - 6,000 lbs... view full answer...
Hey Charles, the Swagman E-Spec part # S45SR is rated for use at the rear of a travel trailer so it will work great for you. It is odd that it's not closer connected to the other RV rated bike racks but that's our fault and I'll see if I can get that addressed! When used at rear of RV it is rated for up to 70 lbs so your 60 lb bikes would work just fine. What kind of bikes do you have? view full answer...
Hey Tom!
I personally like the etrailer Hitch # e37ZV because it has a matte black finish that protects the metal better than a standard glossy black finish, but I see you picked up the Draw-Tite # DT35PR which is also a great hitch that I know you'll be happy with!
What drew you to that hitch over the Curt? Did you need wiring for trailer lights as well? view full answer...
As long as the app for the Curt Echo # C51180 is running in the background of your phone the manual override part # C83HR is going to work. It would require you killing the app for it to stop working. view full answer...
Hey Paul,
I spoke with Curt and they stated that the Replacement Trunnion Spring Bar for Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17535 would only be compatible with the # C17499. The Curt TruTrack 4P Trailer Mounted Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C74RV (17520) is such a new part that Curt doesn't have replacement parts set up for it yet but is working on it.
That being said neither of these would properly distribute the weight and would instead make it worse because... view full answer...
I sure can Scott! I verified with Roadmaster that their Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM23DQ does fit the 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor. It can indeed be flat towed and there are no other restrictions. This baseplate kit comes with all hardware necessary to complete the installation.
Here are the rest of the parts you'll need to flat tow a 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates item # e84ZR

Hey Ray, while there certainly is a lot of appeal to the Andersen WD systems like the part # AN88VR what we have found is that if the tongue weight is more than a few hundred lbs they just don't work as well as the traditional systems that use spring bars instead. So if you wanted something simpler that would work a lot better I would go with a Fastway part # FA92-00-0800 instead. view full answer...
Hey Gary, yes, we do have a base plate for your 2025 Ford Ranger! What you'll want is the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM23DQ.
This base plate has removable arms, has hidden brackets for a non-obtrusive design, and has a simple install with no welding required.
If you're needing a complete setup, you're also going to need:
1. A set of tow bars, like the etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate # e84ZR,
2. A braking system, like the Demco... view full answer...
We had the chance to install a brake controller in a similar Ranger as your 2021 model and when using standard brake controller wiring like with the # C51515 to install the Curt Echo Mobile # C27JR the yellow/orange goes to the black wire, the blue wire is going to go to the blue wire, the white wire is going to go to the white wire, and the violet with white stripe goes to the red wire. view full answer...
It sure will Chris! The Blue Ox 4-Diode Universal Tail Light Wiring Kit item # BX8848 is designed specifically for the LED lights on your 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor. The diodes will protect your RV from feedback and you won't get a bunch of warning lights.
The installation process of the Blue Ox item # BX8848 will be similar to the Roadmaster item # RO44FR. I have linked installation videos below for both. You'll want to pay specific attention to the diode pin configuration. The Roadmaster... view full answer...
Hey Asa!
I totally see where you're coming from, and I can see why it would be confusing.
The gray plug will plug in at the back of your 2024 Ford Ranger, and then the black wire from the Curt T-Connector # C96GJ will need to draw power directly from your battery. The blue wire can be ran up to the front of your Ranger and attached to a brake controller if you decide to do that.
The red wire is for the reverse light function. The reverse function doesn't always need to be used which... view full answer...
I do have a possible solution for you but unfortunately there aren't any battery boxes available that will hold two 12V batteries and fit within a 21" length and 8" width. The closest thing we have is the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box # TLA7708R which measures 26-3/4" long x 8-3/16" wide x 13" tall and as you can see from customer pictures the batteries fit in there pretty snug.
Your batteries actually don't have to be side by side so you could potentially put one inside your... view full answer...
Hi Bryant,
It's definitely a smart idea to check and make sure, and I can verify for you that yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C82ZV 100% will fit your 2024 Ford Ranger.
I went ahead and confirmed this fit with Curt for you as well. view full answer...
Hey Ken! The correct wiring harness depends on whether or not you have the brake controller port/plug. Some models did not include the plug so you will have to check your 2025 Ranger and see. There should be four wires coming out of a large wire harness by the driver side firewall, left of the brake pedal, which can be wired to the brake controller wires.
If you have the brake controller port you can use the # 331-TPH-007 to install the Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. If you only have the... view full answer...
Hi Brian,
To flat tow your 2026 Ford Ranger XLT with your Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar, you'll need:
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit w/Removable Arms part # BLU77ER, this will require some minor drilling, and the tow hooks must be removed and remain off the vehicle after the plates are installed.
-Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage LED Taillights w/7-way to 6-way Adapter Cord part # RM38FR
-Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-156-25, maintains the battery... view full answer...
Hello Russell,
Great question. The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BLU77XR fits the 2019-2023 For Ranger. For the 2025 Ford Ranger we only have the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM23DQ at this time which is a pre-order item. The delivery date might not be completely accurate since Roadmaster is still in the works on designing one.
I am sure Blue Ox is in the works for one as well as the Ford Ranger is a popular vehicle to flat tow.
If the Roadmaster Base Plate... view full answer...
I recommend using the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors # KS3891-2 for your 2019 Ford Ranger. We haven't test fit these yet (April 2019) on a 2019 Ranger but these will fit most mirrors that are 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall. Since this is a wide variety and we have test fit these to work on other Ford pickups you shouldn't have any issues with your Ranger.
As of right now there are no custom fit options for your 2019 Ranger. I have attached a review video of the K-Source mirrors that you can... view full answer...
