We do in fact have the replacement hardware for your Sears X-Cargo carrier.
You will need the Replacement Hardware Kit for Searsbox Cargo Box # TH05603 which includes everything you need to get your Sears X-Cargo back on the road. No drilling would be required. view full answer...
Thanks for the question, Chris!
The Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT66GR is confirmed to fit all models of the 2022 Ford Explorer so it will definitely fit the ST-Line you're asking about. If you'll be doing any towing be sure to pick up the Quick Links # RM-910022 as well so you have easier access to connect your safety chains.
There are similar trailer hitches that have a hidden crosstube, but the Hidden Hitch is very unique in that it's the only option for your... view full answer...
I have a super easy brake controller solution for your 2017 Ford Explorer with the Curt Echo brake controller part # C51180 which plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to a smartphone is ready to tow.
For an easy to install 7-way kit all you need then is the part # C56306 which plugs into the square trailer wiring connector at the rear of your vehicle. I attached an install video for this that shows it installed on a 2017 Explorer just like yours.
Other installs will require hardwiring... view full answer...
Hey Don; good question and no other parts - including any type of adapter plate or mounting plate - is needed to mount the 30 Amp Go Power PWM Solar Charge Controller with Bluetooth # GP76QR.
The # GP76QR comes with screws and is ready to be mounted when you get it. view full answer...
Hi Richard!
The best brake controllers on the market for your 2023 Ford Explorer XLT are going to be from Redarc. They're super easy to use and set up, and they are very reliable. They are the ones to get.
Since you said you will be towing a tandem axle trailer, the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR is going to be a great choice. It can handle 2 axles with brakes on them and will have you completely covered. The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR can handle up to 3 axles with brakes, which... view full answer...
The best fitting and performing tow mirror solution we have for your 2020 Ford Explorer is the K-Source Tow Mirrors # KS3891-2 which we had the chance to test fit on a 2018 Ford Explorer and found they were very stable and provided a great viewing angle. Check out the review video link I attached for more info on this. view full answer...
I do have an option that will allow you to use a bike rack on the rear of the vehicle while towing a tow dolly, however, there currently are not any dual hitch adapters that will allow you to use a 10" drop ball mount and remain within your weight capacity. Therefore, the only way to use a hitch bike rack on the rear of an RV while also towing a car with a tow dolly, would involve a bike rack that slides over the ball mount.
The only bike rack that will slide over the ball mount and is... view full answer...
It looks like a Hayes Brake magnet part number 73400. We do not carry this part but I did a quick internet search and was able to find a couple places that sell them.
From the research I did it looks like this is an older style of brake magnet used in the 1980's. view full answer...
Hello Luther,
Congrats on the new 2025 Explorer! Yes, you are correct. The # 27-6125 would just be the running boards without the custom brackets. For your 2025 Ford Explorer you will want the Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit - 6" Wide - Black Aluminum # W64ZX, this part number is going to be the running boards and custom brackets. I attached the instructions so you can see what you are getting yourself into.

To install your Reese Pod brake controller in your 2018 Ford Explorer will require the install harness part # 3035-P which is a confirmed fit. If you check out the 9:55 mark of the install video I attached to this page you'll see where to find the port on your vehicle to plug the controller in. It is a bit hidden under the dash underneath the panels. view full answer...
Welcome back Michael. The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter # FR87PR takes the vehicle’s PWM/insufficient running-light signal and provides a steady 12V supply so Furrion cameras can operate properly. The tow vehicle lights still need to be powered on to energize the circuit. So if the headlights/running lights are off, a camera wired into the trailer’s lights will be off as well.

Hey Thomas. ROLA went out of business quite awhile ago but you can use the Optronics LED Trailer Light item # STL72RB to replace the ones on the ROLA 10188 Adventure system. These are the same size as the ones used to replace the lights on the Rola Swinging Enclosed Cargo Carrier you purchased back in 2017.
Are you still using the original one you got from us? view full answer...
Hey Melinda, it is possible to fit two of the Thule Hullavator kayak carriers # TH898 on the roof of your 2016 Ford Explorer but you will need to install and aftermarket roof rack with slightly longer crossbars like the Rhino Rack part # RR98VE. Your roof would easily be able to handle the weight of two of these racks plus two 40 lb kayaks as well.
What kind of kayaks do you have? view full answer...
The two orange fittings at the ends of the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose, part # CAM39761, are designed to come of easily.
The ends can be removed by twisting the black locking rings until loose. From there, you can unscrew the orange fittings. This makes replacing the ends much simpler.
I've linked to a video review of this hose for you to look at. view full answer...
Hi Andy; if you have the factory brake controller port on your 2022 Ford Explorer I expect it to have factory wiring at the rear. Have you checked to see what your 4-way is connected to? Do you have a connector back there that looks like it would fit the connector pictured below?
If the 4-way isn't plugged into a round connector like this I would look to see if it is hanging/connected somewhere at the rear behind the bumper with a dummy plug in it. If you have this connector you can use... view full answer...
The trailer wiring harness you referenced, Hopkins # HM48895, is intended for vehicles that use LED taillights which draw relatively little power as compared to standard incandescent lights. I do not believe that your 1995 Ford Explorer came equipped with LED-type lighting and this harness is not among those recommended for your vehicle.
The red wire on this harness does connect to the brake light circuit as you noted in the instructions. You can identify which wire at your Explorer's... view full answer...
Hey Rocha! The best running boards for your 2023 Ford Explorer are going to be the Westin R5 Nerf Bars item # W68NR in Black or item # W48NR in Stainless. These 5" custom fit running boards come with included hardware that does not require drilling to install. The curved pads are formed to the tubing to prevent damage to the ends of the bars. The groves also provide better traction.
I have linked an installation video below along with the instructions so you can see how to get these step... view full answer...
Since your 2021 Ford Explorer ST has a 560lb tongue weight rating I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # FA92-00-0800 which works with tongue weights between 400-800lbs. The Fastway systems are very high quality for the cost, and the built in two point sway control does a great job of keeping your trailer going straight down the highway.
The # FA92-00-0800 does not include a hitch ball so you will also need 2" hitch... view full answer...
For a great way to attach your # 118540 to your 2013 Ford Explorer, I recommend the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 along with the no-drill mounting bracket # 18136 for a drill-free solution.
I went ahead and attached videos that shows you the installation process of these parts. view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers part # C51322 will allow you to use a Curt brake controller like the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller part # C51170 on a 2020 Ford Explorer (All Models). I checked with Curt just to confirm that the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers is indeed correct for a 2020 Ford Explorer so you can be confident this is the correct harness.
The plug will be located under the driver dash, near the center console... view full answer...
