To measure the width of a trailer wheel you will measure from where the tire beads will seat on the wheel. That will be from the inside of the inner wheel flange to the inside of the outer wheel flange, not from edge to edge of the wheel.

This direct wire is what powers the converter box that controls the signal sent to the 4-way connector.
