Hey Don; good question and no other parts - including any type of adapter plate or mounting plate - is needed to mount the 30 Amp Go Power PWM Solar Charge Controller with Bluetooth # GP76QR.

The # GP76QR comes with screws and is ready to be mounted when you get it.

Hi Kyle I got this reply from Jessie M. Hey Don, the Adapter Plate # GP86QR is what allows the controller to be flush mountable and actually holds the controller in place on the wall. It will be necessary in order to properly mount and install the Go Power PWM Solar Charge Controller # GP76QR. More confused than before. You say no he says yes? Don

@DonG Understandable confusion, sorry about that. But I did verify the adapter is absolutely not needed to install the # GP76QR. That adapter plate is actually for an older controller and was mistakenly added as something needed for the controller, even though it is not.

Thanks Kyle I very much appreciate the quick and make sense response. I have a 10 amp controller now that is surface mounted is there something to replace that as a surface mount?

@DonG We do have a 30 amp MPPT charge controller, part # GP72RR. this will be a surface mount directly to the wall.
