Question:
Ive just purchased a 2018 Explorer with the factory tow package. The package includes a hitch, 7-pole wiring, and an engine oil cooler. I cannot find a _word_ anywhere through Ford regarding a brake controller or installation /wiring, and I dont see any wiring coiled anywhere under the dash... can you help with that, please? I do have a brake controller that Id like to use if its compatible... its a Reese Pod, and I believe the model number is 7746... theres a part number on the instructions, 7760, I guess thats the number of the instructions themselves... the date code on it is February 2006. Many thanks!

To install your Reese Pod brake controller in your 2018 Ford Explorer will require the install harness part # 3035-P which is a confirmed fit. If you check out the 9:55 mark of the install video I attached to this page you'll see where to find the port on your vehicle to plug the controller in. It is a bit hidden under the dash underneath the panels.
