Will Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit a 2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line

I have a 2022 Ford Explorer ST-Line and am looking at the Draw-Tite Hidden Hitch #76910 ETrailer Item #: DT66GR. I want to know if this hitch is compatible with the vehicle and also are there other similar options to consider. Thanks

The Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT66GR is confirmed to fit all models of the 2022 Ford Explorer so it will definitely fit the ST-Line you're asking about. If you'll be doing any towing be sure to pick up the Quick Links # RM-910022 as well so you have easier access to connect your safety chains.

There are similar trailer hitches that have a hidden crosstube, but the Hidden Hitch is very unique in that it's the only option for your vehicle with the option to remove the receiver for more of an OEM look. If you aren't concerned with having the ability to remove the hitch receiver then I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e29YR instead because of the durable matte black finish that outperforms the standard glossy black finish of the other hitches that fit your vehicle.

@ChrisP We currently don't have any photos of this hitch installed on an Explorer, but I'm attaching some photos to the initial answer another customer sent in of when they installed this hitch on their 2022 Lincoln Aviator which will be a good reference for you.

@ChrisP I recommend picking up the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56093 which tees in behind your tail lights and then draws power directly from your battery via the included wire lead. If you decide to fish the 4-Way under your vehicle and secure it there then you'll need to use the Mounting Bracket # 18144 and secure it to your bumper since the Hidden Hitch won't have any of the crosstube exposed.
