Can the Fittings on the Ends of the RhinoFLEX Sewer Hose Detach for Storage

Updated 07/28/2025 | Published 12/09/2020

Question:

Can the ends come off the Rhino flex hose so I can get it into the bumper?

The two orange fittings at the ends of the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose, part # CAM39761, are designed to come of easily.

The ends can be removed by twisting the black locking rings until loose. From there, you can unscrew the orange fittings. This makes replacing the ends much simpler.

I've linked to a video review of this hose for you to look at.

What black rings are you referring to? This hose appears to be unified on the dump end with the clear elbow.

@Will You can't see them very well in the item # CAM39761 pics except for inside the clear plastic elbow. You can detach the plastic elbow from the entire hose at that point.

The stated video attached does not show how to remove the orange fittings. Would you please send a video on how to remove the orange fittings on the 15 foot hose? Thank you.

@RobinH We dont have a video that shows this but the orange fittings should just twist off/unscrew from the hose ends.
