Replacement LED Lights for a ROLA 10188 Adventure System

Updated 07/29/2025 | Published 07/21/2025

Question:

I have a ROLA 10188 Adventure system pod/tray. I’m looking to replace the incandescent light assemblies with LED assemblies. Do you carry these?

Hey Thomas. ROLA went out of business quite awhile ago but you can use the Optronics LED Trailer Light item # STL72RB to replace the ones on the ROLA 10188 Adventure system. These are the same size as the ones used to replace the lights on the Rola Swinging Enclosed Cargo Carrier you purchased back in 2017.

Are you still using the original one you got from us?

Yes, still using the same one. I only use it for a two week vacation once a year, so it’s still like new in good shape. Too bad they are out of business. Is thee anything similar available?

@Tom That's great! Glad it's held up so well for you. The 39x25 Inno Cargo Carrier with Removable Cargo Box for 2" Hitches item # IN94MR would probably be the closest comparable option.

The STL72RB link, is a single LED light. If I order two, one for each side, will they plug-in, no new wiring necessary?

@Tom They should because they're listed as a direct replacement but I can not find any information on what plug is behind the lights on your Rola carrier. If you could email me a picture directly, I would be happy to confirm. The Optronics LED Trailer Light item # STL72RB is sold individually and can be used on both sides.

@JerredH I just stored it, so can't get to the lights right now. When I pull it out again I will remove the light and send a picture. Thanks, Tom
