    Some vehicles run 24 volts (bigger vehicles like big rig type vehicles) and some older vehicles have 6 volt systems. But 12 volt is by far the most common. The lights you are looking at, # UCL50CB, # MCL-50CRK, and # MCL55RCB will all work on a 12 volt system.

    If you can very slightly enlarge the hole so it's 2-5/16 inches in diameter, I have a grommet mount lamp that will work great for you. The # UCL50CB LED lamp would use the # A54GB grommet and the # A46PB wiring pigtail. The lamp isn't considered a back-up lamp, but unless the vehicle in question is a commercial vehicle that's subject to DOT inspections, it'll work great for you.

    It depends on what type of light you are looking for. If you want a tail light assembly then it would have to have a red reflector on it to be DOT approved. If you are looking for a utility light (white light) then we do have some available, # UCL60CB or # UCL50CB. As far as just a lens we have some clear ones but they are over 4 inches in diameter.

    The best recommendation I could make since we don't have a 3x2 LED light in white would be the part # UCL50CB. This is a 2 inch diameter round white LED that would supply a very bright white illumination. For a pigtail harness to install this light you would want the part # A46PB.
