Question:
Will the 2 in round be bright enough for back up lights on a utility trailer
asked by: Tim F
Expert Reply:
The Optronics LED Trailer Utility Light - Submersible - 3 Diodes # UCL55CB will be 15 lumens, so it can work as a back-up light, but it will not be very bright. However, the Optronics Miro-Flex LED Utility Light - Submersible - 9 Diodes # UCL50CB will measure almost exactly the same (2" diameter x 1-3/16"), but as it has 9 diodes it will be 44 lumens. This is the light I would go with.
If you do not already have them, the Right Angle 2-Wire Pigtail # A49PB and 2" Round Grommet # A54GB will fit both of these lights.
