Today, we're going to take a look at the Lionshead stainless steel wheel center cap for the 4.9 inch pilot hole diameter wheels, for a quantity of one cap. Now, this center cap will cover the hub on your Lionshead heavy duty hub pilot aluminum wheels on your trailer RV. The wheels we do sell separately on our website. Basically, the opening right here at the top of the cap, that provides easy access for hub maintenance. If you have easy lube axles on your trailer RV, the easy lube axles are ones that have the grease circ fitting on the end of the spindle. So, with this opening, it allows you to access that circ fitting and grease it without having to remove the wheel or the center cap.This cap is a stainless steel construction.
It is corrosion resistant. It's for a quantity of one center cap. It is designed to fit the 17 and a half inch diameter wheels with the 4.9 pilot hole diameter. And when you go to install this, it's a little different from the standard caps that go into the back of the wheel. How this one installs, let me just, if I happen to pull one of those wheels, here's one of those hub piloted 17 inch Lionshead wheels.
And you can see when I say hub pilot, that means when it goes on your trailer RV, it centers on this hub center. So, it doesn't center on the bolts. So, when you go to install this, instead of going through the back, this one installs right on the front, just like that. And then it's held in place by the lug nuts that are installed. Once the lug nuts are installed, the flange portion of this lug nut holds the edge of that cap in place.
So, once you get all your lug nuts installed, it would hold the center cap in place.It's a little bit different how it's installed on the wheel, but that should do it for the review on the Lionshead stainless steel wheel center cap for the 4.9 inch pilot hole diameter wheels, for a quantity of one..

The Lionhead wheel cap is well made of stainless steel. It fit well in the wheel pilot hole when mated with the wheel.

Bought these to go with the new steel rims for my 2-horse bumper pull trailer. The center cap w/snap in plug, stainless steel cover still looks great. Appreciate the snap-in plug for ease of lube. I would recommend.
These wheels(rims) were exactly what we we were looking for and we think this is a significant upgrade to our 2008 Jayco JayFlight G2 travel trailer over the original, somewhat worn old wagon wheel style rims that came with the trailer. The service from etrailer is just as important to this review as the wheels however.
We had a problem with one of the HiRun tires installed 5 yrs ago while we were on the road from North Carolina to Delaware. Upon closer inspection, and not being able to find DOT Codes, we decided to purchase new american made tires while on the road.
After sourcing the tires here near the beach in Delaware, I called etrailer and wound Talking to Tommy C. On Monday morning I ordered the four rims 4 center caps and 24 Lug nuts, and on WED.(!!!Missouri to Delaware in less than 48hours) they were at the tire dealers and ready to have the tires mounted on them. Friday on our way to the next stop we stop by the tire dealer, get the closest thing to a Pit-stop off with the old - on with the new, and up the road. Excellent Products with Outstanding Service!!!!
Center caps fit perfectly, I cannot say enough about lionshead as a company. I purchased a trailer new from Lark and had lionshead wheels on it. The trailer wheel was installed without steel inserts and ruined the wheel on the ride home. I was getting nowhere with Lark but I contacted lionshead and they warrantied the wheel sent me a new one delivered immediately.. In my opinion this wasn’t even lionshead’s fault it was the trailer manufacturer BUT they really took care of me. THAT IS AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE…

I built my" tool shed" on a Triton aluminum trailer. I wanted doors on three sides. I do a lot of volunteer work at a Bible camp and it involves hauling my tools to the job. The trailer had 12x 4 inch wheels and I wanted something I more substantial to carry the load. I ordered the wheels and tires from etrailer. They came on time and we're exactly what I wanted. I have purchased other items from etrailer, and highly recommend this company
This was packed unprotected from the weight of the wheel also purchased. It was delivered all bent and had to be formed back into shape. More care should be taken when shipping products together.

I put these stainless steel center caps on Hi-spec aluminum wheels AM22323HWT. The tire shop that installed the tires installed the center caps as well. They look great together. Photos were taken 1 year apart.
Beautiful high quality center caps! Originally I had dismissed the possibility of having center caps on my new wheels due to the not having easy access to greasing the hubs, but this solution really made it easy to having caps.
Nice enough caps, but priced pretty high too. Shipping was really slow, but I trust eTrailer's quality and service.
Excellent product… love the looks of the stainless steel center caps, only wish the snap-in plug was same material (stainless steel) rather than being a chromed plastic. That’s the only improvement I’d wish for. Our tow dolly is looking sharp with its new alloy wheels, stainless center cap and stainless lug nuts.
