It's hard enough getting my kayak up and down from the top of my car, but carrying it down to the water from the parking lot was just too much, especially considering I'm not a young man anymore and I have chronic back issues.
What I like about this product: It was a very good price and it is easy to attach and detach the wheels. Because of this, the wheels can ride in the back of my kayak, and the rest of the folded cart slips up underneath the front of my kayak. It takes up a little bit of the space for my feet so is not the best solution, but it is better than having to leave my kayak on the shore and walk all the way back to the car and then reverse the process when I come back.
What I don't like about this product: I would've given it a 4.5 rating because I don't like the placement of the strap clamps. They would be better if they were much shorter or a little bit longer. As it is, one of them ends up clamping down right on the top edge of the kayak. That makes a little hard to get it tight. Sometimes the cart slips a little bit while I am hauling it to the shoreline. It is still a new experience for me, so I am working on the best placement and I think I will get better at it.
Overall, I am very happy with this product and I hope it lasts a long time.

The rack fits on my VW Golf Wagon perfectly and I can't wait to use it next season here in Maine. The wheels also fit my new kayak well, are sturdy and should be fine on the sand and rocks I often have to go over to reach the water. Both items arrived quickly.
Perfect for both my 10 ft solo canoe and 14 ft kayak. On trails with roots and rocks. Easy to use. Attach straps through a bar, seat or other part of boat to hold in place. Or else straps would slide.
Nice little cart. Light weight and folds down to fit inside the hatch of my Crescent Kayak Lite Tackle. The two straps hold it securely to the kayak even with the pronounced keel on my Crescent LT. I've pulled the kayak over a mile on gravel roads with no problem. With the cart in the middle of the kayak there is hardly any weight to hold up.
It's a great product for a 50LB/10' Kayak that I need to ferry from my vehicle parked some distance from a ramp to the local lake (a pond by Great Lake Standards for other Western NY ex-patriots). Well constructed and durable so far. I've only had one opportunity to use it before wor weather became too cold and my weekends became too busy with travel to use it again. But it promises to be very helpful with even longer walks from the car to other NH area lakes next spring.
although i have not used it yet my initial experience - the unfolding, stability and ease to put together take apart fold back up - very easy - looks like it will easily fit on the kayak - delivery aand packaging was great -and timely - and the assistance with all of my questions was great as well!
These are very nice carts. It securely holds my 12' Crescent Lite Tackle kayak and rolls pretty well over rough terrain. It does bog down some in sand or deep mud. Takes seconds to disassemble and easily stows in the front hatch of my kayak.
Looks good so far. One-third the weight of my previous cart,and the no-inflate tires are also a vast improvement.
