Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our replacement adjustable support brackets for the CURT TruTrack weight distribution systems, specifically for the six-inch frames. That's right folks, so this heavy duty replacement will support, or replacement support brackets rather, will fit and are designed to work with the CURT TruTrack two-point weight distribution. And I'll kind of step out of the way so you can see this a little better. But you're gonna get four of these guys here with the five square holes through 'em. Two of the large L brackets.
Same thing with the square holes through 'em. And two of the, what I'm gonna call C channel shaped brackets here with the square holes as well. You're gonna get the four carriage bolts with nuts. And as you can see, they're carriage bolt. They got that square to line up right inside of that hole.
That way when you're tightening everything, it holds tight. And then of course you got your retaining L pins here and the clips that match up with them as well. So again, you're gonna get everything you see here. And these brackets, again, are allowing you to mount your spring bars onto a trailer frame up to six inches. Well folks, this is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together.
Again, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. Have a good one.
The Curt Tru Track system comes with adequate support brackets, but after a year or two they start to get some good grooves and wear from the friction/tension bars, so Curt sells these Heavy Duty Upgraded brackets. The brackets are about twice the size and look to be very "Heavy Duty" for sure, it is too bad they don't just give you these to begin with, but I understand the need to make money and sell upgrades.
So, anyway, these look like they will last twice as long or longer, so worth the extra money spent, but I would certainly use up the originals before purchasing these, like I did. Check out the picture and you can see the difference between the original and the upgrade.
It was kind of hard to find these and figure this all out, but luckily etrailer is here to help us find our way!
