  • Limited Lifetime warranty
  • 30-Day satisfaction guarantee

Insert these helper springs in between the individual coil loops in your rear coil springs to defeat driver fatigue and add better support for heavy loads. Most factory coil suspensions have a difficult time hauling added weight. The rear coils may struggle with supporting the extra load placed on your rear axle when you're towing a trailer or using a hitch-mounted cargo carrier or bike rack. If your coil springs are totally squished under a load, the lack of shock absorption can be harsh on your backside, especially if you spend long hours sitting in your vehicle while driving to your campsite.

Coil SumoSpring installed between rungs of coil spring

Inside each helper spring, a core of microcellular polyurethane foam adds cushioning between your coils to make your ride more comfortable. Each doughnut-shaped spring has H-shaped channels at the top and bottom that fit to the rung of an individual coil in your rear coil springs. The cushioning absorbs shock, but also works progressively to better support weight, keeping your truck level.

Unlike air springs that fit inside your coil springs, these polyurethane springs require no air pressure monitoring, and they are easier to install. Say goodbye to air lines, valves and air tanks and hello to maintenance-free suspension support. Unbumpify your ride with Coil SumoSprings for coil suspensions.

  • How to Prevent Rear Suspension Sag on 2021 Toyota Highlander Towing Trailer
The SumoSprings kit part # CSS-1145R is exactly what you are looking for. This will give the rear suspension of your 2021 Toyota Highlander additional support to get rid of the sagging you mentioned. You are right that a weight distribution system would not be the answer for your vehicle either due to it being uni-body. Your vehicle actually isn't rated for weight distribution for this exact reason.

  • Which Coil SumoSprings For 2018 Toyota Highlander 4WD
Hey there Barry, thanks for writing in, and I double-checked with the manufacturer and can verify for you the correct Coil SumoSprings for your 2018 Toyota Highlander 4WD (so long as it is not the hybrid version) are the 1145: - Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1145R There isn't actually a 1165 version so I can't tell you what the review you mentioned was referring to, unfortunately. These are definitely the right way to go for your Highlander to help shore up the rear suspension...

  • Will the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs Fit a 2022 Dodge Durango RT?
Hey Joe, sorry but the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs item # AL60824 will not fit the 2022 Durango's with the RT trim. The only alternative I have for you is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1145R. These are spacers that get installed in between the coils and help to keep them for compressing as much when a load is applied. They are super easy to install and take off as well. What are you towing with your Durango?

  • Availability of Rear Axle Air Suspension Enhancement Kit for 2013 Toyota Highlander
We have two rear-axle suspension kits for the 2013 Toyota Highlander and one works with the 2- and the other with the 4-wheel-drive models. However, these kits are not air-bag types, but rather a micro-cellular polyurethane foam helper spring that fits between the individual turns of the existing coil springs. The part number for this kit is # CSS-1145R for the 4WD and part # CSS-1168R for the 2WD model. These are far easier to install than an air bag kit and once in place they are maintenance-free....

  • Will Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs Fit a 2018 Toyota Highlander
I'm pretty sure you are correct that the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1145R will fit your 2018 Toyota Highlander, however, we haven't had the chance to test this out and SuperSprings doesn't have this listed in their fitguide so I cannot guarantee fitment. The best thing to do is get some measurements of your springs so that I can confirm the correct fitment with SuperSprings on my end. • Will Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs Help with 2022 Toyota Highlander Rear Sag
Hey Craig, thanks for reaching out! The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1145R will help give some extra support to your 2022 Toyota Highlander, but I don't recommend swapping out OEM suspension parts unless they look like they're worn out. Some other things to check are your weights. Make sure your Highlander isn't being overloaded, and double check that the tongue weight of your trailer is within the recommended 10-15% loaded weight of the trailer for best towing. Let me...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a 2019 Toyota Highlander that Sags When Pulling a Trailer
Hey Kyle. The only suspension enhancement I have that will help with your Highlander's sagging issue is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension item # CSS-1145R. These insert in your rear coil springs and limit their range of motion. What kind of weight distribution hitch do you have and how heavy is your trailer? I'm wondering if you have an underrated weight distribution hitch or it's not set up correctly.

  • Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird
Hey Pete. The best solution to address sagging in your Highlander's rear end is to use a weight distribution system. It looks like your 2017 Jayco Hummingbird tops out at 3,750 lbs. That means your tongue weights going to be somewhere around 375 lbs to 560 lbs. The best system is going to be the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System item # EQ37060ET. It works with tongue weights in the 200 lbs - 600 lbs range. This will definitely level out the rear end of your Highlander when you tow...

Hello John, thanks for reaching out. I looked up that Woodland edition Sienna and that looks pretty sweet! I recently got rid of my 2013 Sienna XLE and I loved that van. Unfortunately, with the Woodland edition being AWD, this rules out any air bag kit, like the Firestone # F4155, which will not fit AWD models. I spoke with Super Springs about the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # CSS-1145R for your 2012 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The issue is not that it is not a fit but rather they have not yet had a Hybrid model in to test them on. If you are sure they are the same suspension then they will work for you but in order to be certain I would need you to take the measurements I have attached for you so I can confirm compatibility.

  • Options to Supplement Rear Suspension on a 2021 Honda Ridgeline
I spoke with SumoSprings and the # CSS-1145R is the part they suggested for a 2021 Honda Ridgeline. This will install on the rear coil spring and will help with some of the sag you are experiencing. If you are experiencing a lot of sag, you may want to look into getting a weight distribution system as well. That being said, this will depend on the tongue weight of the trailer you are pulling and if the vehicle is rated to be use a weight distribution system. Depending on all that, the...

  • SumoSprings Helper Springs For a 2023 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum
Yes, the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1145R are confirmed to fit your 2023 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum. You should not have any issues for your warranty as it is a add on part and you are not modifying the vehicle components. You are simply helping to provide support to the rear coil springs. • Rear Air Bag Helper Springs for a 2015 Toyota 4Runner
The ideal solution to level a vehicle that is sagging when towing a trailer is weight distribution and not helper springs. I can recommend both but for weight distribution you need to go by the total tongue weight. This is the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of anything carried behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. Air bags such as # F4135 for your 2015 Toyota 4Runner are going to offer a better ride and more adjustability than Coil Sumo Springs...

Generally, switching to a weight distribution hitch with anti-sway built in is going to provide a much better towing experience; you're also going to find that these combined systems like the Fastway E2 # FA94-00-0600 will allow you to backup while they're attached. I wish I could say yes, but as of right now they are not a fit for the 2016 models and we do not have any other suspension enhancement options. If you are trying to fight suspension sag from the tongue weight of a trailer there is a better option.
