Question:

I have a 2016 toyoat land cruiser with a stage 6 icon lift on 2.5 inches. I need something to help with sag when I hook up my boat. I want to help the spring that I have I was looking at the spacers that goes between the coils on my spring. What do you recommend

Hey Anthony, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track with the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1145R being a good option for your 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser. They insert inside the factory coils so you can easily add support and stability. The 2.5" lift will not be a problem since the coils are still there. These are by far the easiest way to add rear end support.

We also offer an air bag insert for the rear coils part # F4164. These are great because they allow you to fine-tune your suspension and dial it in depending on what load you are hauling. These give you a bit more control over the ride stiffness, but there is more installation and maintenance compared to the coil inserts.

What kind of boat and trailer do you have?

I really don't want blue under my landcruiser. Do you have a cover for these airbags in black

@AnthonyM No, there isn't any kind of cover. They only come in Blue. You could maybe spray paint them? I'm not sure how well they would take paint tho.

Hi Anthony, I've got the sumo ones on my 2020 Ridgeline. They work great. Three weeks ago I hauled 1300# of batteries and my snow machine trailer. Kit

I installed these on my 2020 Honda ridgeline The added enough help that the headlights now stay at the correct hight when the bed lid loaded up Very happy with them Ride is still great even with the stiffer rear end

I have a 2021 Highlander that sags a little when I tow my travel trailer. I purchased the Sumo coil spring helper and was very disappointed in the result. It made my previously stable trailer unstable. I took them out at my first stop on my trip. Unfortunately I couldn’t return them as too much time had lapsed from my purchase to the first camping trip. I had a much better result going to a lightweight Weight Distribution Hitch.

I installed the sumo coil lifters on a 2019 highlander to add lift while pulling a pop up camper. Seemed to help a little and didn’t affect performance. In my case I got tired of worrying about tongue weight so I bought a 2015 Ram 1500.

@Steve Hey Steve, thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear the coil lifters helped at least a little bit. I'm sure the Ram 1500 handles the tongue weight much better than a Highlander!
