Question:
Hello I have a 2016 Dodge Durango 3.6 citadel that I have put on the hitch bought from you guys my question is do I need a weight distribution hitch my trailer weights about 6000 and tongue weight is at least 600 to 650. My front end lifts up and I just want to level it out a bit better. If so what hitch do you guys recommend. Thanks for all your help and time.

Hey Kris,
I recommend going with the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BXW0750. It has a tongue weight capacity range of 550lbs to 750lbs so your tongue weight would be right around the middle of its capacity. This system has clamp on brackets so you won't have to drill into the trailer frame and can be setup in just a few minutes. With this chain hanger style hitch you can easily adjust the tension by switching to a different link instead of having to get your tools out and take apart the hitch head to add in or remove washers. Overall this is one hitch that I've only had and heard of positive experiences from.
Adding in some Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1145R could also help support your suspension and reduce the sag you've been experiencing.

Hey Kris, how did things go with the Blue Ox SwayPro and the Coil SumoSprings on your Durango? Did they help level out your setup and reduce the front-end lift? Your update could make it easier for others towing similar trailers.
