Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2025 Kia Telluride Towing Keystone Coleman 13B

Updated 03/07/2026 | Published 03/03/2026

Question:

I drive a Kia Telluride 2025 EX and tow a 2025 Keystone Coleman 13b dry weight 2400. I am looking for an air bag or easy to install airbag, coil support or something to reduce sag and help with my suspension, as the weight distribution hitch does not work well with my whole body frame. Would this part work well or do you have any other suggestions? I would like something low maintenance, and we do a 2000 mile trip once a year, if that matters.

Hey Amanda, we can definitely help! I would recommend the SumoSprings kit part # CSS-1168F for your 2025 Kia Telluride to get rid of the sag when you are towing. This requires zero maintenance unlike the air bag kit part # AL29PD that fits your vehicle while also providing great support and an easier install. How much sag are you getting now do you think?

Several years ago, I ordered the rear sumo spring for my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica "minivan" specifically for towing similar weight on a trip out west (6,000 miles roundtrip) and to improve sag when it is loaded up pretty heavily. The Pacifica was designed with a softer spring that improves ride, but sagged noticeably under loads - either just camping equipment, trailering or both. I was shocked how well they worked eliminating sag. When not hauling camping equipment or trailering my pacifica's ride height was the same as before the coils were installed. After installation, the pacifica had a very slight increase in ride firmness, but nothing that changed the overall comfort or handling of the pacifica in any way. Actually, I like it better now and the coils are still installed during all my daily driving. The install was straight forward and not complex - don't forget to use plenty of dish soap on the coils so they slide easily onto your coils. I sort of pushed them onto the coils inch by inch in many small motions - not in one large motion. All my best, jb
