Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking together at this beautiful RC Manufacturing M-Series Underbody Toolbox. It's a stainless steel finish on the front hatch and it's a nine cubic foot space toolbox. Now starting off, folks, I want to give you the overall dimensions so you can be sure it's gonna fit your application. We're looking at 48 inches long, or four feet.
And counting the front door all the way back to the back, I got right at 18 inches on the width and 18 inches tall for our height. Now you will need to install this on the underbody with brackets and hardware that are not included. So again, brackets and hardware are sold separately. Now again, you have a nice, beautiful stainless steel door in the front. Lemme come around here and take a look at this with you.
So as you can see, it's very, very reflective, very repressive. It's much like a very nice mirror finish. Are you gonna get two keys included, and those would simply lock or unlock. As you can see the handle recesses flush in the front. But you can simply pull it open, and then you do have to twist the handle to then get it to open all the way.
Now, as you can see, we got one tool in here just to kind of show you some depth back in there and everything. And at one point out when I got this open, these do not use gas struts. It's strictly a chain hang operation. So the chains are gonna hang and keep the door at the height you want. They are adjustable.
You have little holes up in here. You can move the chain forward or back to then get the angle different to whatever your needs are. You can also take off this little carabiner here and move it to the farther hole on the bottom bracket on the door itself if you wish as well. It's got a nice rubberized gasket here that's gonna keep out moisture, water, those kind of things. This would be great if you have a flatbed truck, maybe a dump truck trailer, something of that nature. It has a nice protective coating on the whole outside here, so you're not gonna have to worry about rust or anything. It is a heavy duty 14 gauge steel construction. It is stainless steel even underneath this black coating. So just keep that in mind. You're never gonna to worry about rust. The whole thing weighs about 120 pounds, so I would recommend getting a friend to help you install it. Now that seal, as I mentioned, is technically an automotive grade bulb seal, so you can rest assured you're not gonna have mother nature creeping in on you, road spray, those kind of things. And again, you're gonna get two sets of keys here. And again, that nice flush T handle there on the front. And again, that nice, reflective finish on that stainless steel is just beautiful. Well folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together today. Again, my name is Steven. Thanks so much for your time. I hope this information's been helpful for you. Let's go ahead and spin it one time so you can kind of get a look at the back before we go. So again, you got that nice, protective coating all the way around the front and back. As always, we wanna thank you for your time. Thanks for watching. I do appreciate any kind of photos you may have, any kind of feedback. Once you get this installed, shoot us some photos, let us see what it looks like on your ride. Have a good one.
