Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Phoenix USA steel truck or trailer underbody toolbox. This toolbox is going to mount to the underbody of your truck or trailer to help you save space and provide secure storage for your gear. I do wanna point out that the mounting brackets or hardware to install this is not included with this. However, if you do not already have compatible hardware, you can find those brackets here at etrailer.com.

So this is going to be a great option to consider for your flatbed trucks, dump trucks and trailers. Let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements just so you have a good idea of the size of this box and so you can know if this is gonna work for you. So looking at the overall width, we're sitting right at 18 inches wide. And then looking at the depth, looks like we are right at 12 inches deep. And then looking at the height, 14 inches tall, and this weighs a little bit under 30 pounds when it's completely empty.

Let me give you a view of the inside here. So this is a flush mounted T handle, so I'm just going to look that up. And then you're, you can just rotate it either way to open it. Inside we have a capacity of 1.75 cubic feet. I know it's kind of dark in there, so probably can't see in there too well, but it's a really nice wide opening there.

So you're gonna be able to get your gear in there. We do carry two other boxes from Phoenix USA here at etrailer.com. We have a medium sized one where the capacity is 2.3 cubic feet and then the larger one's 2.9 cubic feet. So if this one's too small for you, we do have those other larger options for you. So this flush door is going to give you easy access to your cargo space.

This locking flush mounted T handle isn't going to get in your way when you have it closed. You're not gonna have to worry about it accidentally getting caught on anything. It'll be outta your way when you have it closed. And this, we have this really nice weatherproof seal that goes around the perimeter of our opening. So that's going to keep the weather out. And then a stainless steel piano hinge, it's going to keep this door from a dropping down all the way. So it looks like it's a very sturdy hinge. And then to lock this, you're just going to turn that T handle back in the center position and before you push it down like that, obviously we have a keyhole here. Two keys are included. I'm gonna insert one of those keys and just turn that. And then that's going to prevent that handle from turning. And then you're gonna be locked in place. Your gear will be secure. Go ahead and open it to unlock it. Just do that and that's going to allow easy access back in. So this does feature a heavy duty steel construction. It has a black powder coat finish. Of course, as you saw, the front has a mirrored chrome finish on the front there, so it's gonna be very attractive, very eye catching, but yet very durable.
