Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this InfiniteRule trailer coupler lock kit. Now, this trailer coupler lock set is designed to keep your trailer safe and secure when it's not hitched up or when it's locked to your tow vehicle. So either way, this kit is going to have you set up. Now, the main coupler lock here is going to work with your Demco EZ-Latch 2 5/16 inch ball coupler.
As you can see, it's going to fit the stamped steel models only and this is gonna work with trailer tongues up to 4 1/3 inches wide. And as you can see here, our lock here has multiple locking positions. So you're gonna be able to adapt this to different coupler shapes and latch styles. And I'd like to give you a brief demonstration of that. So when you're ready to use this, you'll remove the top shackle here.
This ball adapter, by the way, can be used with 1 7/8-inch and 2-inch balls as well when you take the top off. But this particular kit is designed for the 2 5/16-inch ball. So you're gonna leave that top portion on to fit into your 2 5/16-inch ball coupler. And then once you have that coupler secured on here, you'll replace the top shackle and then you will wanna find the tightest setting possible so that that shackle will have a tight fit on there. And then you'll take this pin here and I already have it unlocked here.
And then once you find that tightest setting, you'll find the holes here that's going to match up the best. And I think I found the set here, so I'm just lining up the holes there. Gonna run it through like that. Now, this is a lock protector and it's basically just a hard piece of rubber and this is going to protect that lock when it's not in use. So let me show you how that works real quick.
I'm gonna take one of the keys here, stick it in there, and then I'm going to put the lock head here in that lock protector like that, see if I can connect it there. And then once it's connected, I'm gonna lock this into place. So by the way I lock this is by turning the key clockwise here, like you're tightening up a bolt. And so I'm just going to keep turning that until it is tight. And then once it's tight, then the key will be removed. And actually, I lucked out there. I was gonna point out that you want to line the key up to the nearest set of hash marks around that ring there if you can see that. And it looks like where I tightened it up, it was already lined up, so I didn't even have to look, the key came right out. And then you'll just close that cap. And so this is what it's going to look like when it's in operation. And so this rubber piece here is going to protect that lock, which is nice. So this is bright orange obviously, and not only is the orange for looks, but it's also going to be very easy to see from a distance that your trailer coupler is locked up. And just the color itself act as a theft deterrent because someone can see from a distance, "Hey, that trailer's locked up. We'll just move on to a trailer that is not locked up." This is built from heavy-duty stainless steel. All of these elements are actually every component, so it's gonna hold up really well for you. Those rubber caps are going to do a great job of protecting the keyway when they're not in use from dust or debris and moisture. So all of the locks are gonna operate the same way and have those caps as well. You're gonna get six keys. One key will run the show and then you'll have the other five keys for backups. Or you can have family members or friends have a key as well that you want access to your setup. And then this does include also this flush-style hitch lock that's going to secure your ball mount or other hitch accessories to your 2-inch and 2 and 5. Sorry, 2-inch and 2 1/2-inch trailer hitch receivers. And then this matching flush-style coupler latch lock is going to secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler so that when your trailer is locked onto your tow vehicle, it can't be removed. That latch lock pin length is about 2 5/16 inches. And I don't think I popped this up, but I just wanted to pop a picture up here showing you what this is going to look like in action. I didn't have that exact coupler handy here in my studio, so hopefully that gives you a good idea of how this is all going to work.
