Easy to install. Their video warns you that the hitch may hang low and it does so that's why I rated it at 3 stars. I know with the 2023 Chevy Bolt they changed the read bumper which has a light in it and restricts mounting the hitch higher and from using a 2" hitch.
Installed on a Chevy Bolt, so it’s not taking any crazy loads, but it was been working fine for bike racks and very lightly loaded trailers ( 700# 16’ sailboat and trailer for 3 miles to launch) I’m not asking for much from it,, and it seems to do just fine.
Fits great on our 2022 Chevy Bolt! It was a little tricky to install with one person and no lift (ended up using block to hold one side while I marked the one needed drill hole), but am very happy with the finished product. You have to remove one small access panel under the bumper as opposed to cutting a hole like the older versions of the Chevy Bolt Draw-Tite hitch. Seems like an upgrade from my POV.
Easy to install, even with the drilling. Pretty strong.
