What is Towing Capacity of 2022 Chevy Traverse with Curt Hitch Installed

I am inquiring about the towing capacity of the hitch you sell for a 2022 Chevy Traverse. After the hitch is installed, is it capable of a towing capacity of 5000 lbs or is that capacity for factory installed hitches only? Thank you

Hey Marty, so the Curt hitch part # CU29FR has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs but like with any towing setup you are only as strong as your weakest component so if your 2022 Chevy Traverse has a lower capacity than that you'd need to go with the vehicle towing capacity as overall capacity.

It looks like your vehicle can have a towing capacity range of 1,500-5,000 lb so you'd need to verify that to know overall capacity.
