Does Curt Hitch for 2018 Chevy Traverse Fit Behind Rear Bumper Cover

Question:
I was watching an options video for a 2018 Traverse for trailer hitches. One video shows that the Curt class 3 sticks below the bumper and the in the installation for the same hitch it shows that it fits perfectly behind the cover for the hitch. Videos are contradicting.

There was an older Curt hitch for the 2018 Chevy Traverse that did hang below the rear bumper but the current hitch part # CU29FR does fit behind the cover and would not hang below like what you see in the attached video and picture.
