Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax hitch receiver lock and adjustable coupler latch lock set. Now this is going to include a receiver lock for your class three, four and 5 two-inch trailer hitch receivers and an adjustable coupler lock that's going to fit seven eights, two and a half inch and three and a half inch spans covering your hitch and coupler security needs. And these locks feature an advanced locking cylinder, so it's gonna be harder to pick and drill than your standard locks and the tube keys are gonna be, typically they're more challenging to duplicate. So you're just gonna run this through the latch of your coupler, make that as tight as you can and then set it to where you need it; and then you'll be good to go. So you got four keys here.
Everything is keyed alike, so one key is going to operate all of these locks, both of these locks. And on our trailer hitch receiver lock, as you can see, we do have a rubber cap on here and it's got a really good seal on it so it's going to make this weather resistant and you're not gonna have to worry about moisture, dirt, debris or anything getting in that keyway when you have that cap in place there. So it's really got a good seal. Now these are a durable construction. They're constructed of hardened steel with a polished chrome finish that's going to help resist rust and corrosion.
So they're durable, they're gonna last you a good long time, I believe. Lemme give you some overall measurements. So looking at our coupler lock first here, trying to just give you a rough idea of the overall length. Looks like we're sitting pretty close to six inches. And then looking at our trailer hitch receiver lock, overall length: almost seven inches, right below seven inches.
And then that inside pin length there, or the span as it's called, is a little over three and a half inches, it looks like. So again, very convenient that everything is keyed alike and I think this is going to be a great way to protect your investment. That pin diameter, by the way, on the trailer hitch receiver lock is five eighths of an inch. So if you decide that this set is going to be exactly what you need, we would love to hear back from you whether that means you leave a review on our product page, shoot us an email, give us a call. We would love to hear how you're using this lock set and also we'd love to see some photos of your setup as well.
Well that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Very nice upgrade from my old circa 2011 stuff. One key makes life soooo, simple and nice. Nice job!
Works great and seems pretty solid.
