Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax Chrome Right Angle Receiver Lock. Now, this right angle receiver lock is made for those hard-to-reach spots, so no more awkward maneuvers. This design, it's gonna make securing your hitch in tight spots a breeze. This is gonna be designed for your Class 3, 4, and 5 receivers. The pin diameter is 5/8 of an inch and the span or the inside pin length, let me put my ruler up to that.
Gonna be a little bit tricky there to show you, but as you can see, we're sitting pretty close to 3.5 inches inside to inside there. And in case you we inchesre wondering just the overall length, let's call it at, so about 6 1/4 or yeah, 6 1/4 inches if I can see that right, just so you have a good idea of the overall size. So this lock is made of chrome-plated steel. It's gonna resist rust and corrosion. It's gonna give you durability and protection.
And this has a weather-resistant rubber-tethered cap here. It's got a really good seal over that keyway when this is closed. So this is gonna do a great job of keeping that lock clean, free from moisture and debris. And Trimax locks use key mechanisms that are pretty simple to lock and unlock. You got these tube keys that are pretty much hard to duplicate, so you're just gonna stick the key in, give it a quarter of a turn, and then that's going to allow you to easily remove the head and unlock this.
And then when you're ready to lock this up, you'll just replace it, give that key a quarter turn the opposite way, then you'll be locked into place and then just replace that cap and you'll be good to go. So as you can see, that's got a good seal on there. So it's gonna hold in place really well. You are gonna get two keys, two tube keys, and so this is really gonna give you peace of mind whether you're hauling an expensive trailer, camper, or boat. Securing your hitch, obviously, is going to add an extra layer of safety and really gonna be a great way to protect your investment as well.

This replaced my other lock which was not equipped with the 90 degree lock. I barely had enough room with my old lock to even fit and even more difficult getting the key in it the right way. =My new Trimax lock gives me plenty of room and so easy to get the key in now.
