Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax two inch trailer hitch receiver lock and surge brake coupler lock set. Now, this includes a receiver lock for your class three two-inch trailer hitch receiver and a coupler lock that has a 3-1/2 inch span that's going to fit lever latch couplers and surge brake couplers. And these locks feature an advanced locking cylinder. So these are gonna be harder to pick and drill than your standard locks, and these two keys are typically more challenging to duplicate.
So just to give you a brief demonstration here, I'm gonna stick one of these keys into this lock here. It's gonna be very easy to unlock and then get this secured on your coupler, and then just lock that back in place and you'll be good to go. If you notice, we do have four keys. Everything is keyed alike, so one key will operate both of these locks. These are weather-resistant.
They do have this tethered rubber cap that's going to keep that keyway safe from moisture and debris. And as you can see, there's a really good seal that this cap provides, so that's a great way to keep that keyway protected. So it's gonna be very convenient since everything's keyed alike, one key again to operate both of these locks. Durable construction, stainless steel, so that's gonna resist rust and corrosion. It's gonna give you many, many years of good service because of the build quality.
So let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements. So taking a look at our trailer hitch receiver lock first, overall length end to end six inches. That inside pin length or span right at 2-3/4 inches. Let me move my finger there. There we go.
2-3/4 inches. The pin length is 5/8 of an inch, I'm sorry, pin diameter. Pin diameter is 5/8 of an inch. Then taking a look here at our coupler lock, overall length, little over 6-1/2, 6/12 or just a little bit over. And then just to confirm that inside pin length that I mentioned earlier, inside the inside, right at three, my finger keeps getting in the way, right at 3-1/2 as I mentioned. So a great set to consider. And if you decide to pick this up and put it into action, protecting or securing the investment that you've made with your equipment, we would love to hear back from you. Whether you leave a review on this product page, shoot us an email, give us a call, we would love to hear how you're using this and how it's working out for you. And send us your photos as well.
