Video Transcript for Review of Weigh Safe Replacement Dual Locking Pin Black Cerakote - WS43VR

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Weigh Safe replacement dual locking pin. Now this is going to replace the dual pin assembly that came with your Cerakote 180 hitch or your Weigh Safe two ball mount. And these locking pins, as you know, they're going to secure the ball mount platform to the shank, giving you that added security. And this Cerakote coating is going to enhance resistance to wear, chemicals, and corrosion.

The housing is aluminum, the pins are aluminum, so even though they're made of aluminum and they're lightweight, this is gonna be very durable. It's gonna hold up really well to corrosion, and it's gonna withstand the elements. The lock is plated steel, so the lock's gonna be very secure. Now I do wanna point out, this does come with this rubber cap, and as you can see, this rubber cap is separate from this, so when you pop the cover off, it's going to be completely separate. I have seen some of these where the rubber cover is bolted to the housing itself or might be bracketed to the housing itself.

So it is possible that the one that you get could vary slightly from the one that I have here. Either the cover will come completely off or it will be secured to the housing. So just be aware that there are those variations that are floating around there. But everything else will be the same. You are going to get two keys, and this is the direct replacement from Weigh Safe.

So you can trust that this is going to work just like the original one that you're needing to replace. Maybe that original one somehow got damaged or maybe even lost it, so you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today.
