Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax hitch receiver lock and adjustable coupler latch lock set. Now, this does include a trailer hitch receiver lock that's going to fit your class 2 one and 1/4 inch receivers. But if you use this adjustable sleeve, it's going to expand to pitch your class 3, 4, and 5 two inch trailer hitch receivers. And then, this also includes this adjustable coupler lock that's going to fit 7/8 of an inch, two and 1/2 inch ,and three and 1/2 inch spans.
So, this set's gonna cover your hitch and coupler security needs. And these locks do feature an advanced locking cylinder, so that's going to make these harder to pick and drill than standard locks. And the tube keys typically are more challenging to duplicate. So you are gonna get four keys. Everything is keyed alike, so one key will control everything.
And I just wanted to show you how this sleeve is gonna work, just like that. Let me just pop this back on. Now, the trailer hitch receiver lock does have a rubber cap here that's tethered, so that's going to make this weather-resistant. So it's going to keep that keyway free of moisture, dirt, and debris, and the cap's got a really good seal on it. And then again, just wanted to give you a brief demonstration of the coupler lock here.
So you'll just adjust that to where you'll get the tightest fit that you need. So everything's gonna be very easy to use, and you're not gonna be struggling at the back of your vehicle to get the fidget that you're looking for with these locks. Durable construction, everything is stainless steel, so it's gonna resist rust and corrosion. It's gonna last you a good long time. And so lemme get my ruler here, give you some overall measurements.
So taking a look at this coupler lock first, the overall, just give you a rough overall measurement here, end to end, we're sitting pretty close to six inches. That pin diameter is gonna be 1/4 of an inch. And then looking at the overall length here, about six inches, and then that inside pin length, pretty close to two and 3/4 inches. And again, I've got that sleeve on there, so that's pretty handy. Everything again, stainless steel, four keys, everything's a keyed alike. If you decide that this is going to be the set that's going to work best for you, we would love to hear back from you, letting us know how this is working out for you. So, whether you send us a review on this product page, an email, or give us a phone call, we would indeed love to hear back from you. And we'd also like to see pictures of your setup as well, and showing us how you're using these locks to protect the investment that you're making in your towing equipment. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Works great and seems pretty solid.
Very nice upgrade from my old circa 2011 stuff. One key makes life soooo, simple and nice. Nice job!
