Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this BulletProof Hitches Heavy duty Adjustable Two Ball Mount for your two and 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this adjustable ball mount has a maximum capacity of 22,000 pounds making this ideal for just about any trailer with your lifted truck. Now this shank is going to slide into your two and 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle, and this is going to be ideal for vehicles that have a 34 inch to 36 inch clearance from the ground to the bottom of the inside of your receiver tube. Now typically I like to demonstrate adjusting the ball platform in the channel or showing you how easy it is to swap out the ball and it is very easy. But just because of the uniqueness of this particular ball mount, because of the extended drop, I have this set up somewhat precariously on my table.

So I'm not gonna actually go through the demonstration here for you. But as with all other BulletProof Hitches' products, this is gonna be a very smooth and very easy operation to slide the ball platform up and down the channel and to swap the different ball sizes. Currently, I have the two and 5/16 inch ball, and to switch this out, all you have to do is remove the the pin and clips here and then that's going to allow you to either adjust the height of the ball platform or you just remove the ball, you flip it, and then you can change it, swap it to your two inch ball, so it's going to be very easy. Now this does feature as I hope you can see 13 adjustment holes. So this is gonna give you 11 mounting positions and this is going to give you a maximum drop in this orientation of about 21 and 1/4 inches, and then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise of about 21 inches.

The adjustment hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch and this adjustable channel is constructed of 5/16 of an inch thick steel plates. And as I hope you can see right here, this also features a 1/2 inch thick steel gusset that's welded between the shank and the channel. And that's what that's doing is bracing the mount and keeping the channel from pending, bending rather. And I do wanna give you a closeup of this section right here just so you can see that ball platform a little bit better. Our pins and clips here are constructed of heat-treated steel, so they're gonna do a great job of withstanding the heavy weight from your load.

And these also have a zinc finish, which is going to give you corrosion resistance. So, again, it's gonna be a very smooth operation to slide those pins out and to get that height adjustment, the ball size that you want, then slide those pins back in and then you'll be on your way. Now with the two inch ball, you can tow up to 12,000 pounds with the two inch ball and with the two and 5/16 inch ball up to 22,000 pounds, so that's going to be the gross towing weight for those balls. And then the maximum tongue weight capacity is gonna be 3,000 pounds. And if you notice, the hitch balls are welded to the ball platform giving you that extra sturdiness.

And this is made from a heavy duty steel construction and this also features one of my favorite aspects of BulletProof Hitches' products is their matte black textured finish, which is going to do a great job of helping to protect this, it's gonna resist rust and corrosion. So this finish is gonna hold up very well for you, even after repeated use. The hitch pin hole diameters is 5/8 of an inch. This does not include a hitch pin and clip, so you probably already have a compatible one, but if not, we do have multiple options here at etrailer.com. And of course, that's just a way again of protecting your investment when you have this mounted on the back of your truck in your trailer hitch receiver. So when it's unattended, you're not gonna have to worry about someone coming by and trying to yank this off of your trailer hitch receiver when you are not around. Now this adjustable ball mount is going to be compatible with a wide variety of accessories, of course, those are sold separately. Now, for instance, instead of using the included ball to toe, you can install a weight distribution shank in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system. You could add a clevis or a shackle attachment for off-road recovery options, or you could simply add a hitch step to easily access your truck bed.
