Towing trailers with different coupler sizes just got easier thanks to the 180 Hitch 2-ball mount. This ball mount features a chrome plated 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball on opposite ends of the ball mount platform. Switching to the opposite ball is fast and easy - pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank and simply flip over the platform, so that either the 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball is on top. Slide it back up along the shank to the desired height and reinsert the dual pins, hitch up, and go! Because both balls are contained on the platform, you won't have to keep track of separate balls that must be completely removed and installed each time you need to switch trailers.
This ball mount's convenient stowable design keeps the ball mount platform out of your way when you're not towing. To stow the ball mount platform, simply pull out the dual pins and remove the platform from the shank. Place the ball mount platform on the backside of the shank facing your vehicle. Reinsert the dual pins to attach the platform to the shank. The 180 Hitch can be used in either the drop or rise position to best suit your application.

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Weigh Safe 180 hitch with dual balls on a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch shank with a 10-inch drop or 11-inch rise. And we have some chrome-plated balls that are included. So folks, with this ball mount, you get double sided, a 2-inch rated at 8,000 pound 2-inch diameter ball and a 18,500 pound-rated 2 5/16 inch hitch ball on the 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch shank. Now the whole shank assembly and the head assembly here is all made from a one-piece 6061-T6 billet aluminum.
So it's solid. It's gonna be stronger and lightweight compared to competitors. Now this piece here that slides up and down is solid by itself obviously, but the ball itself is a hardened steel with a nice chrome-plated finish here so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion on any of it. Now you have dust cover over the locking pin there for the dual pin to go up and down. You will need a hitch pin.
That's sold separately, potentially a lockable one maybe. But if you already have one, you could use that. It's a 5/8-inch hitch pin hole there. And as far as some dimensions. Real quick, from the center of the ball to the center of this first hole here, I got 8 1/2 inches.
And then to the back hole from the center of this ball, I got 9 5/8 inches. From the center of this hole to the back of the shank is 3 inches. From the center of this hole to the back is 1 7/8 inches. Now your rise and drop goes up and down in 1-inch increments. Simply pull off the dust cap cover here.
It's a nice heavy-duty rubber. It's gonna keep dirt, grime, rocks, dirt, and that kind of stuff out of there. You got two keys. Two of them come with it. Very nice, very hard to pick since they're tubular. Very sturdy; you don't have to worry about flattening them or bending them. Simply unlock, pull out the dual locking pin here. Now we've got a 2-inch ball. We wanna go to a 2 5/16. Simply rotate it 180 degrees. Put that back in. Now my lock's on this side since I flipped the unit over, and I simply lock it in place, put the dust cover back on, and now I'm ready to pull that 2 5/16-inch trailer coupler and trailer down the road. So, again, folks, you have the adjustability of the heights for multiple-height couplers on your trailers and the two different size balls to accommodate most couplers that are out there as well. So pretty much this is gonna give you pretty much everything you need depending on your special needs of your trailers and your setups. Well, folks, I think that will wrap it up. Just a quick look at the Weigh Safe 180 2-ball mount for the 2 1/2 by 2 1/2-inch shank with chrome balls. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. And, as always, stay safe while you're towing.

Great quality and fast shipping.
This isn't the cheapest hitch on the market, but it is certainly high quality. The carrier slides as it should as does the ball. The locks for the receiver and the carrier are keyed the same and they give you 4 keys. I personally like the double pinned carrier instead of a single pin as some of the others do. I have only had it a week but, I'm impressed so far.
