Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this ARB synthetic rope shackle. Now this rope shackle is gonna replace your steel shackles or D-rings when rigging. You're gonna wrap this around your roll bar, axle, or other point of attachment to create an anchor using this as a connecting link between your rope and a tree saver strap, tow strap, or other strap. And this is going to work with vehicles up to 7,000 pounds. And this has a maximum load or break strength of 32,000 pounds.
And this is gonna be very easy to use. You're just gonna wrap this around an anchor point, and then you're going to put the loop end over the knot, just like that. And then just pull it tight. And this is an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, synthetic rope. So this is going to be tougher than steel and it's also going to be safer to use.
And another added benefit is this rope is going to float, and it's UV resistant, it's abrasion resistant, and it's lightweight. And the protective cover is going to help reduce damage from sharp edges. And this does include this bag that's going to let you keep this shackle neat and organized. So just slide that in like so. And then it does have a drawstring here with a cord lock, so you can just cinch that closed, just like that.
And then instructions are also included to make sure that you're using it the way that it's been designed. And of course, as you've noticed, this does come in this really bright orange color, so it's very visible, very easy to see. But I think that's going to wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our brief time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.
Thank you for joining me.
Recently found myself in a very icy, and sloppy, muddy field. There were a bunch of trucks and SUVs that had parked. It warmed up and the entire field turned to soup. Got to winch out about a dozen different trucks from all different angles and distances. This shackle was very handy when we had to use some of the extension straps to get to the vehicles further down the hill. I like That is easy to use, but really like using the rope instead of the metal shackles when possible. The less potentially lethal components I use the better. Like keeping everyone as safe as possible. This performed well. Handled some big trucks stuck in deep mud like a champ.
I have great luck with you folks. So far very happy with email follow ups, ordering process and good delivery time
Arrived on time and well packaged. Appears to be a solid item. Lauren worked hard to get my items to me in time for a trip so I can’t say enough about this company. Great experience with them
