Today, we're going to be taking a look at part number CU881082. This is the COMEUP Snatch Block. It's going to be ideal for the COMEUP winches, the DV-12, the DVD-12 Light, and the DV-15. This unit is going to increase your winch's pulling power by adding an additional anchor point to run your rope through. It can be used to change the direction of pull without damaging the rope, and it can be used to allow the winch line to be redirected to spool back into the winch properly. It's going to feature the quick opening side plates.
That way you can easily install your rope. It's going to go on the wheel right here. Then you close the plates back together. Then you would want to install a shackle. That way you could safely and securely attach this to your anchor point. It's going to feature a nice zinc plating on it, so it's going to last a long time.
It's going to resist rust and corrosion. It's going to feature a maximum load capacity of 30,000 pounds. When it come to the rope diameter, this will accommodate a maximum rope diameter of 9/16". A few measurements to go over with you real quick. Diameter of the hole, right here, that's going to give us a measurement of about 2 3/8".
The overall width of the unit is going to measure about 5". If we take a measurement of the overall length, from edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement . Looks to be about 9 7/8". That's going to do it for today's look at part number CU881082.

Love the design. We'll see how she does.
This is much larger than similar style snatch blocks so its probably suitable for 4x4 loads, where the smaller ones really have little to no margin between working and breaking loads, but people buy them anyways. It's still much lighter than the bulky cast style block.
Solidly built and will accommodate my synthetic winch line. Very good price compared to other pulley blocks that will handle 30k lbs.
Much heavier than expected - very well made! I am using this to pull logs and stumps with logging winch, and to pull (fell) trees with 1/2 inch rope. Works great!!!
used with 12.5rs - works well, does not bind, has not corroded or deformed under use
Have need to use them yet but look very well built.
